I will agree you do not have to be in good shape to be a good golfer. But I will also say anyone that thinks golf is easy has never played

Hey Atro what's up? I gotta tell ya. I was a little offended by one of your statements on a golf thread Saturday. You said golf was a non athletic sport. I will only ask you have you ever tried to hit a golf ball after consuming copius amounts of alcohol? It takes quite an athletic ability to do so!!! LOL. Hope you have a great holiday my man.

Well said. It starts when you are young. Shovel walks, rake leaves, throw newspapers.....You have a much better appreciation for your money when you earn it. (not syaing I wouldn't like to hit the lottery some day)

Wrong in my case. I spent my life from high school on working with my father to learn a trade while making about 5 bucks and hour instead of laying around wondering what to do. No one gave me my job, I went out and looked for business and worked by myself. Did what I had to do to make ends meet and provide for my family. I would have flipped burgers if I had.

100% agree. Too bad the system bloodsuckers would rather pump out kids and sit home and drain the system. And the government lets them.

It's easy to make excuses why you don't work. I would say our govenrment rewards deadbeats too much. Don't get me wrong, I am all for helping someone that truly needs it. But when there was a push to have welfare recipients do some communit service awhile back and it was considered to be unusual and cruel.... well that is just plain bullsheet.

Wow you seriously just told my situation. My wife and I both got laid off and she was pregnant. We were in new house for a year. Paying about $150.00 a week for insurance. I also did side contracting and made it through. The old saying where there is a will there is a way.

My point is when the Yankees play on the road most stadium sales are way up. That in turn generates a lot more money in other owners pockets. There is not many poor francise owners out there so other teams have the option to spend more money and choose not to.
