QB, WR, and DB are our biggest needs. As bad as we were, Ronnie Brown was great, the O-line was pretty good (way better than the years past), and we have enough on the d-line and LB to get by.

Bring in 2-3 DB's, a QB, and a couple WR's and we could at least compete again

I would absolutely agree with your assessment of the decline. I was just stating that our teams from 01-05 were much much much better than the 06 and 07 teams.

I will also agree with Rix's play diminishing over the years. How in the world do you progressively get worse?

The Chris Rix years were much more pleasant than the last 2 IMO. Well accept for traveling 10-15 hours to watch us lose to Miami twice in one season....that wasn't fun

We have done an excellent job this year getting them early. I can remember going into January with 3 or 4 committs and cleaning house with a late surge. Jimbo and Co. have the right idea. However, I wouldn't say 1 good class is putting us back in the championship hunt by 2009. It all depends on what we do with the players. We have had plenty of good recruiting classes over the last 7 years. Xavier Lee was a bigger recruit than Manuel (EJ looks to be a lot smarter though....so that's good)

If TJ is better than Chad, then why isn't he the number 1 WR? Simply on name recognition? Why did he have 1400 yards? He got all 1400 against "bad corners"? There isn't a corner in the league that can cover CJ 1 on 1. 6'1" is "small" for a WR? He's bigger than santana moss, steve smith, and wes welker. He's the same size as Reggie Wayne. He's still bigger than 80% of the CB's in the league so that's a non-factor. You seriously have no idea what you are talking about. The Bengals chose to get a bigger WR in Henry and he is still #3 and Housh is #2. Get with the program son.

Loki he would be the 1 WR on any team except the Pats or the Colts. Please name the teams he would be a #3 WR on? TJ Housh is the #2 WR on the Bengals and he would be the #1 guy on every team in the league except the Colts & Pats.....so how can you explain that?

another ignorant comment. he is "average" at best? Bobby Wade and Freddie Mitchell are average WR's. Randy Moss is the only guy that I can rank above CJ right now. Now his teammate Housh is pretty damn good and is right up there with him too.

people who don't like his attitude can ridicule all they want, but if there was ever someone who BACKED UP what they said, it's CJ. That is the thing, he might talk ****, but he ALWAYS backs it up. Not to mention that his antics rarely distract the team like TO and others.

Hear me comin? You can question Chad's motives and criticise his antics, but how can you question the man's game? He is hands down a top 5 WR in the league, and maybe the best all around (running routes, catching, YAC, blocking, and pure playmaking).

Anyone who says this guy is overated is really out there!

kaycee.....this is true, but it is also in the fins best interest to trade him while he still has worth. in order for this parcells deal to work, we need to have a young team. trade zach thomas for a 4th or 5th rounder and trade jason taylor for a 1st rounder, if possible.

i know i will be PISSED if we draft dorsey. we could have had dorsey at 19 years old last year (okoye). but we have the dreaded tedd ginn jr! last year we drafted 2 centers and 2 kick returners. well done boys
