manny is more of a short term guy. if the nats just got him that would be stupid. they would need to splash in the off-season with other players then just him.

But i dont think the Dodgers intensions of getting him were to do it for one half season.

Manny is clutch though and the Dodgers got the better part of this deal. the two other prospects in this deal will be great in the future too. Manny was a headache but a great player. But all of that for Jason Bay? come on.

this is ridiculuos. Going to baltimore? I dont know where that came from. Reading the Sun, there was one artcile about the Raens possibly going after Favre. Do we remember what happened last time we went for a quarterback like him? Steve McNair had one decent year and then got injured for the last two years of his career constantly. It would be a terrible idea for him to comeback. For his own sake I know its hard not to go back to football, but stay retired.
