This is stupid the stats don't tell the full truth of the percentages Kobe is getting. Especially the clutch time stats. You've got to take into account the context of play that is happening.

Alot of these couch statisticians don't take into account the opposition defense have spent tonnes of hours drawing up and setting up plays to counter what Kobe would do in a clutch situation. Mind you they know 90% of the time who is getting the ball but Kobe still manages to score 32% of the time.

Mind you - would you prepare that thoroughly for Lebron or Wade? Of course not because they are not as good as Kobe in the majority of those sort plays which require a tonne of confidence, courage, good perimeter shotmaking as well as the ability to create a shot, pass or drive to the paint. And in saying that do you think the opposition even bothers to prepare for someone who is middle of the road in ability or borderline All-Star? say like an Artest/Lin/Nash/Harden or <enter borderline All-star which may have a chance to close a game here>.

Someone tried to make Andrew Bynum as the best clutch player in the league at 82%. That is just incredibly misleading and cynical towards the team, Kobe even the league as a whole! Try passing Bynum the ball at half court and let's see if he could create his own shot with the best defender draped all over him. I'll give you $20 if that ever happens :)

Y'all just need to take the stats with a pinch of a salt and quite possibly a quarter lime and some tequila because you need to take into account the CONTEXT of the plays that occur during clutch time ;)

You know Kobe epitomises that James Bond/ Batman adage. "Never ever let your enemy know you are hurt". He's faking it big time. It is obvious he is hurt. Since when did a fully healthy Kobe play only 30 mins in a closeout playoff game? Please he is hurt but he's faking it.
