bcoltrainari - yeah the DPs are troubling. Jeter was doing that a lot too. In fact, I think he leads the league in GIDPs, or is 2nd. Arod was hit twice in the arm in Baltimore, maybe that's a factor. I don't know. I couldn't watch the game last night. Had to follow on Gameday. I know Andy didn't do well, but they had plenty of chances. It's very frustrating.

I think they need to shake up the lineup.

Arod should be batting 7th. But seriously, he has no protection in the lineup and guys know he'll swing away so he strikes out a lot. Giambi has been inconsistent. Posada and Matsui being out has hurt him.

The NY Media, Daily News in particular, were the ones who practically drove Shockey to the airport. Now they want to moan that the Giants traded him.

Shockey is as happy as a bleep in bleep not have to put with the media and Tom Coughlin anymore. The Giants will have to deal with it.

And all the fans who were crowing about how great Boss was and how they didn't need Shockey,,,,have fun this year.

Well yes, the kid has to learn how to handle the media. Big whoop. Again, if guys get too emotional after loses, then they get hammered for that. You can win and if you try, you will wind up going crazy. I don't care what he say, I only care how he pitches. Which was bad. If he's a good guy and pitches bad, he'll be gone. If he's an **** and pitches good, he'll stay.
