the Bulls just need a coach who realizes you have to have a PG to win in the NBA. Skiles and Boylan refused to give their only PG, Duhon, the minutes. Yes Hinrich and gordon are both better overall players, but neither one is a PG (and neither are Hughes or Sefalosha. When Duhon got minutes, the offense actually scored. Either play Duhon (if he is even around) or get a better alternative

The Bulls issue was the fact they had two coaches who refused to recognize/admit that they only had one true point guard on the team, and that was Chris duhon. All the others are shooting guards. Unless you have Scottie Pippen plaing the 3 and bringing the ball up the court, you HAVE TO HAVE a PG in the NBA. Both skiles and Boylan refused to give Duhon the minutes. When they did it was amazing... they actually scored points.

Barkley, while entertaining, is a pompous cartoonish a**. I met him one time in a social environment and it was enough for a lifetime. Of course, no... i would not say that to his face ha-ha. I don't see any teams jumping out of the woodwork wanting him to have any part or position in their organization.

Frog you are definitely missing something. Where did you get the idea he is injury prone. He missed 6 or 7 starts in 2004 I believe, and other than that has played in every game of his 8 year career. If all that a middle LB has wrong with him after 8 years is a sore back and neck he is doing OK. He is still just shy of his 30th birthday.

with all that said, he signed what he thought was a great deal, and if he does have a beef he should still shut up publicly. He is owed what his contract says and nothing more. If these guys would keep their requests between them and the team they would be a lot better off.

ha-ha. Now THAT is funny.

Cubs over Chisox in the WS 4-1, scoring 59 runs in 5 games. Mike Ditka sings the 7th inning stretch at all the Wrigley games. Ernie Banks gets his wish as the first ever WS doubleheader is played in order to beat the 12 inches of snow forecasted for the following day.

oops..and one last comment. the Pirates have a winning record... in their 12 games this year that were against anyone other than the Cubs.

Oh, and be a little humble. That World Series was your only one in 90 years :)

10-3 was the score of the game (now 13-4). Hey, def lets calm down. I was just responding to the "loser" comments by pointing out that the franchise has been reasonably succesful with a winning record and 2 division titles over the last 5 years. Not bragging, just responding. Look at it this way, Chicago has two first place teams at the end of today.

OK chisox fan. I will agree to brag when we win it all, if you agree not to brag about one good year. I mean, one out of 90 isn't bad, but pllleeeeaasseee.

For the comments about the Cubs losing, it should be stated that they have won the division title twice in the last 5 years, are the defending division champs, and are favored to win it again this season, which for the math-impaired Chisox fans (just jabbing, don't freak out on me) would be 3 out of 6. Granted, still gotta give you that World Series thing...well, for another 6 or 7 months anyway - ha-ha.

p.s. The 11-6 Cubsa are already jumping all over the Pirates today.
Posted Sunday April 20, 2008, About: Mets rip 'weird' Phillies fans
The only thingscarier than the behavior of some (not all) of the Philly fans at the game is the fact that some of them on here actually defend their right to revel in the fact that theya re cheering for and hoping for an opposing player to be seriously injured. There is this word called "sportsmanship" that started with, well, the orgin of sports and was supposed to be the point of playig and watching them.

Oh well, I wonder what the ignorant Marty Brenneman has to say about this.

Jeesh, you live across the street from a place where 30,000 people congregate on any given day or night, and you are surprised that there is trash and some drunk people. Seeing you are a Mets fan I can only assume (granted, possibly incorrectly) your family has not lived there since before the stadium was built. What were you expecting when you moved in and saw that big stadium taking up a couple of city blocks across the street from you? A quiet secluded neighborhood?

Brenneman just isn't used to fans at the ballpark. Anyone seen the sea of open red seats at Cincy home games?

As far as beer spills. I have had beer spilled on me at a Brewer's game. I didn;t assume it was on purpose, but who knows. With that said, can I ask the poster if they were in the bleachers? Bleachers = cheap tickets = college age boys = beer spills; even if they like you! Wrigley bleachers have been known as the party spot for the last 40 years. Expect a barroom type atmosphere.

If you want knowledgeable, courteous fans who respect the game and even opposing jerseys, stay out of the bleachers. Unless of course your whole point in being at the game with your Brewer's jersey on was to stir the pot anyway?
