Posted Thursday September 24, 2009, About: Cowboys No. 1 receiver frustrated
I heard the interview and if you listen to the entire interview there is nothing to this. Roy even put some of the blame upon himself. Another blog taken out of proportion but what else is new.
Posted Wednesday September 23, 2009, About: Giants LB rips new Cowboys Stadium
Seems like Manning had to call a timeout because of the noise. And with the ends and the roof open it will not be as noisy. Danny must be the guy that Barber and Jones kept running by while he was checking out the new stadium. And the poor, sorry stadium is bringing the Super Bowl and NBA All Star game to the area plus college games and a serious upgrade to the Cotton Bowl along with UT and North Carolina in basketball. Face it, most haters of the stadium are Cowboy haters anyway. And the old stadium was sorry and if you are going to do something do it right.
Posted Monday September 21, 2009, About: Tuck: Cowboys' Adams should be punished
If I am not mistaken there was a Giants player who also tried to trip someone on the Cowboys. But since Adams leads the team in penalties the NFL might be doing the Cowboys a favor if they suspend him.
Posted Monday September 21, 2009, About: NBA's double-standard for Kobe?
What! The NBA have a double standard. No way! It has one on the court as well.
Posted Monday September 21, 2009, About: Why Cubs suspended Bradley
Being a fan of the Rangers (Cubs of the AL) and having Bradley on our team last year I was really surprised that the Cubs signed him to a 3 year deal. He actually kept himself in check for the most part with the Rangers but he was always hurt. But we could put him in as a DH. So I figured being on an NL club he would either be hurt or get himself in trouble and either way you would be wasting your money. I felt it was a stupid deal to make when the Cubs did it. Somebody needs to have their heads on the chopping block in the front office for this move.
Posted Thursday September 17, 2009, About: MLB wouldn't let Rangers sign No. 1 pick
MLB needs to step in with the selling of the Rangers as well. There are buyers but Hicks is wanting too much.
Posted Thursday August 27, 2009, About: Jones: Titans punter aimed at videoboard
Just think what the media could do if Favre threw a pass off of the godzillatron.
Posted Wednesday August 26, 2009, About: Bradley: I face daily hatred at Wrigley
His overall relationship when he was with the Rangers was good. But there he could DH which gave him more AB's than it normally would have because of all the nagging injuries. So I was really surprised that an NL team signed him for 3 years. Cubs get an "F" for that signing and a 3 year old could have figured out that this was a bad deal.
Posted Wednesday August 12, 2009, About: Dodgers, Rangers eyeing Smoltz?
Smoltz was fine for 3 innings. I think he could help someone out of the bullpen but not as a starter.
Posted Sunday August 09, 2009, About: Why Rangers cut No. 2 starter
The Rangers are trying to look at the big picture for a change. Padilla always drills someone when he pitches like crap and this last time out Michael Young paid for it. When Young was hit in the lower back the cameras panned to the dugout and Padilla had this smirk on his face. I would imagine that to the man not one Ranger player was happy about that. They already are without Kinsler, Cruz, and Salty. They do not need someone else going out because Padilla cannot get his act together. And the Rangers have many young pitchers they are grooming and felt that Padilla was not the role model they wanted for them. As a Ranger fan, yeah I know, it is a bummer, I feel this was the right thing to do. This team is going in the right direction for a change.
Posted Friday June 05, 2009, About: Owens: Jerry Jones broke his word
Did his grandma ever tell him that there is a lot of wisdom in silence than to open your mouth and remove all doubt? Poor TO, everybody is always picking on him. Call a Wambulance!
Posted Monday June 01, 2009, About: Potential Red Sox-Rangers trade?
TPC67 - I agree that he would make an excellent coach because even though he is not the player he once was but the guy is still money on defense and is hitting 333. And his professionalism is outstanding. He knows the game.
Posted Monday June 01, 2009, About: Potential Red Sox-Rangers trade?
As a Rangers fan, which has been a bummer in itself, I have become a big Vizquel fan. The guy can still hit and is just automatic at his position even at 42 years old. He has been a great mentor for Elvis Andrus and has played 3rd and 2nd as well. I would not want the Rangers to trade him.

Posted Wednesday April 15, 2009, About: Billionaire owner may lose Rangers
A Yankee fan stating that the ARod deal is what has screwed up the economics of baseball? That is one of the funniest things I have ever read. Wake up! This is the same team that if someone is injured lets just buy some more players and who consistently have a payroll of over $200 million.

And please make Hicks have to give up his teams.
Posted Tuesday April 14, 2009, About: Did LeBron anger Boston media?
I guess modern technology has not caught up in the commish's office as far as knowing what is going on during games. "I missed that dance, but I think celebrations by our players do have a place," Stern said. This guy will turn his head if it is in relation to someone he likes and helps the NBA and that includes DWade. Let Cuban do a dance and it will be a $100,000 fine.
Posted Tuesday March 31, 2009, About: Disgruntled Matthews leaves Angels camp
He had the one great year with the Rangers including one of the best defensive plays I have ever seen. But the money that the Angels offered him based on that one year was way too much.
Posted Wednesday September 24, 2008, About: Steinbrenner rips MLB playoff system
Get over it Hank! First, you cannot even invite the guy to the last game ever played at Yankees stadium and now you are griping about the playoff system. And, oh, it just so happens that your gripe happened to mention Torre. What a coincidence. And it is the same format in every major sport not just baseball. But of course nothing personal. Somebody go call a Waaaambulance.
Posted Wednesday September 24, 2008, About: Ex-Packer: Rodgers better than Romo
Right on Unck. And Romo made a great play with pressure on his pass to Crayton against the Giants. If Crayton does not choke and drop an easy catch we are not talking about Romo having his first playoff victory.
Posted Wednesday September 24, 2008, About: Rangers won't fire Washington
GM Daniels made some bad trades (Danks, Chris Young, Galaragga) in return for no one but made a few good trades in getting Murphy, Neftali Perez, Gabbard. Three starters went on the DL and Millwood and Padilla were also out at times causing guys who were not MLB ready to have to pitch. They have some good young arms coming up if they stay patient. And the team seem to go downhill when Murphy and Kinsler both went out along with Bradley who was out for the better part of August and September. But what else is new with Bradley. I think Nolan is the man that can bring order to what has gone on in the past. Still not sure if Washington is the guy or not to lead this team but we shall see.
Posted Monday July 21, 2008, About: Olympics cause Dirk to bawl
Dirk is a first class person and a great player. You never have to worry about him getting into any trouble and he works hard at what he does. He played gritty games a few years ago against the Suns and Spurs to lead them to the finals. Those games were wars. Then against Golden State he went belly up. But that is the one and only time I have seen that from Dirk. He and Bass were the only guys who were getting it done last year against the Hornets. He is always willing to take it to the hoop and get hacked and plays hard. He is not soft. The problem with Dirk is his body is not built for agility. Kudos to Dirk.
