Yeah, and it's our right as fans to point out how absurd it is for him to fight those fighters in the near future.

So, how's that petition going to get Hendo's win against Bisping overturned? You know, since you still claim Bisping won that fight (which is only slightly more laugahble than stating that Franklin won HIS fight against Hendo - stop being such a homer and learn a little about MMA - judging by your blogs - when you leave the Gracies off a list of MMA legends, it proves you should stick to football. American football, since you probably know as little about soccer (football) as you do about MMA.

Legends of MMA without the Gracies. Hahaha. Sort of like a list of the Greatest Heavyweights of all time without Ali. Or the Greatest Presidents of the USA without Lincoln.

Right, because he was going to enter the hall of fame WELL before Jeter (which turned out to be true, Nomar visited the HOF two years ago, and said the tour was "well worth the price of admission"...)

Um, people in glass houses...

First off, that NINE year drought was really terrible. Did you know there were kids in the second grade who had NEVER seen the Yankees win a World Series until they beat Philly this year? I mean, that's terrible.

If you want to throw stones, I'll take the Yankees homegrown dynasty of the 1990's (and the stars were homegrown) over the mini dynasty of the Sox - where the Sox had to employ two HUGE cheats in order to win. Yeah the Yankees spend money - and yeah, ARod tested positive. So did Papi, AND Manny - and without those two cheaters, the Sox are still whining about 1918... (without ARod, the Yankees probably don't win it all this year. So it's up to ten years... those poor third graders...)
Posted Thursday November 26, 2009, About: McMahon to buy UFC stake?
Add to that the fact that Dana has been ripping boxing as being crooked for YEARS, and now the UFC has experienced some judging which is simply laughable.

I mean, I wonder as the UFC was buildig up the legend of Michael Bisping (to sell PPV's in the UK natch) how the judges possibly saw his fight with Hammill. And yes, I KNOW the "commission" handles the judges, just like the "commission" does for boxing. And yet White claims boxing is fixed, but the Rua/Lyoto result - or the Couture (ahem) victory over Vera was legit, and the judge who saw it 30-27 for Franklin over Hendo wasn't on the take. Sure thing Dana.

I've stopped buying the PPV's after Dana's continued lies (his lie about giving Hendo the title shot, and then acting like Vince McMahon in giving it to possibly the winner of the Nate/Thales fight, and then to Vitor) was the final straw.

All that said, Shane COULD help the UFC with merchandising. That's the ONE area where the WWE still kills the UFC...

Nah, he's not scared of Fedor. That said, Fedor would still beat Brock (even if Brock was 100% healthy).
Posted Thursday November 26, 2009, About: Coach: Lesnar back in six months
The problem with your logic (or lack thereof) is the Brock is the only star in the UFC who comes from the steroid factory that is (and has always been) the WWE (formerly WWF). While Vince preens about having tough testing in place, it's common knowledge that MOST WWE/WWF stars have been (or are) on the juice. And we're not talking one or two cycles here. There is a REASON why these guys are dying not only in their 60's and 50s, but now 40s and 30s. And we're supposed to believe that Brock, one of the biggest (and biggest stars) was one of the few that was clean?? Give it up...

Shamrock juiced (and he went to and then came back from the WWE)...
Brock juiced
Gracie failed a drug test
Sherk failed a drug test (BIG surprise)
Nate Marquardt failed a drug test (BIG surprise number two)

There, it is not just Brock. He's currently just the most high profile fighter, and I would not be at all surprised if his mysterious illness was related to years of pumping his body full of crap.

Better than reading the **** about little man's woman who obviously isn't over her ex and isn't at all into Rex other than to keep her bed warm. I mean, why don't you two go and join Lava Life and chat in there...

Last time I checked - this was a SPORTS website. Not one intended to get dating chicks from an obvious single (that'd be you) with no prospects - which is sad since you probably tell all your potential suitors that your avatar is actually you.

Bwahaha.

Now begone ****...
Posted Thursday November 26, 2009, About: Damon's Yankee days likely over
Um, no.

The Yankees are indeed good for baseball. While many fans love to hate the Yankees, the FACT is - they increase attendance ALMOST everywhere they go - this putting more money into the pockets of their opponents. I have been to NUMEROUS Yankee games at the Rogers Centre (formerly The Skydome, soon to be the world's biggest parking garage, but whatever) and there are generally 15,000 MORE fans at a Yankee/Jays game than any other Jays game (except the Red Sox). This happens almost everywhere they go (I think the Red Sox sell out every game, no matter who they are playing...).

For the last number of years, the Yankees have also sent large cheques to teams like Florida and Pittsburgh, and instead of investing in their respective teams, these owners put this money in their bank account. So the Yankees are helping these owners get ... richer.

The Yankees and their fans provide MUCH fodder for Red Sox Nation (seriously, how sad is it that fans have to give themselves some nickname like that) which provides many thousands of hours of gleeful putdowns, as well as street vendors making money from shirts that say Jeter Sucks.

Finally, MLB can be happy that the MLB playoffs with the Yankees involved will attract more viewers - which will enable MLB to charge higher rates for their commercial time. And show more people how badly Joe Buck sucks...

The Yankees are GOOD for baseball. The Pittsburgh Pirates are NOT. They haven't been any fun since the coke parties in the 70s' stopped...

(joking)
Posted Saturday November 21, 2009, About: Yankees keeping eye on Halladay
That's called life. It isn't always fair. Being born in the United States as opposed to in some African nation with a sky high death rate is also luck of the draw.

Listen, George Steinbrenner bought the New York Yankees, NOT 1/32 of MLB. And he's done a good job of investing in his team. This gets tired - but there are owners who could have gone toe to toe with George, but most owners view this as a business and they want to make their 8-10 percent. Carl Pohlad could have had the highest payroll of ANY MLB team, he chose to take his money to the grave. His choice...

Put Theo or Cashman in any of the other divisions where they don't have to worry about the other one, and they'd BOTH do well. Yes, they make mistakes. All GMs do. But Cashman doesn't sign Pavano if he has St. Louis' budget.

The Yankees have as many homegrown players that contribute as any other good team, with the exception of the Tampa Rays, who had the advantage of having a top three pick for about a decade. 90% of the GMs could have built a competitive team with that streak.

And FYI, there have been more different teams winning in MLB over the last 15 years than in the NFL or the NBA. So while it doesn't seem fair, MLB actually does provide well run franchises (this eliminates Baltimore, Pittsburgh, KC, Washington) with the OPPORTUNITY to win once in awhile....

Plonk.

*sigh*

While Rampage is a terrible coach and MIGHT be a terrible human being (I don't know him personally, so I'm not going to judge him from what I see on TV and one mistake he made) the woman didn't miscarry until a WEEK after the accident. While it's terrible that she lost her baby, to pin it all on Rampage is ... wrong.

As for the revelations on TUF, if you believe even ten percent of what you see on ANY reality television show - you are seriously in need of a life. TUF is edited to provide the biggest reaction, and obviously having a bad guy as one of the coaches helps push ratings.

Rampage will be back. Just like Tito came back, and Randy came back... (and most likely Hendo will come back as well)

Barnett isn't garbage. He's a cheater - but he's not garbage.

He's got five losses on his resume, but all five were to fighters that were MUCH better than Matt Serra (so if Barnett is garbage, then so to is Rush St. Pierre...)

Other than losing to Cro Cop three times (back when Cro Cop was one of the top fighters in the world, as well as Nogs and Pedro Rizzo in 2001) isn't anything to be ashamed of.

And Barnett and Fedor are friends, so it wasn't a matter of ducking him as much as wanting to get paid, and then seeing Affliction fold... get your facts straight.

Of course, we ALL know GSP is ducking a potential match with Anderson Silva at catch weight because he knows he'll be exposed (he wouldn't last one round with Silva, whereas Penn lasted FOUR against the much bigger GSP...).

GSP is a coward who greases. If he really wanted to be known as the top PFP fighter he'd want a challenge. Instead of eight months off he'd be challenging Anderson. But Anderson is too big. What a wanker. Penn didn't whine about GSP's size advantage. And wow, now he's going to face the winner of Hardy/Swick. Um, yeah, that's a challenge...
Posted Tuesday November 10, 2009, About: Will MMA return to CBS?
Blah blah blah...

Brock had one true win on his resume when he was given a title shot. So insulting Rogers for having beaten one true opponent is laughable ... which most of your posts are.

I know you're still trying to prove that GSP is the top PFP fighter in the world. Uh, losing to Matt Serra, no, wait, being the ONLY person Matt Serra has ever KO/TKO'd in his career - proves GSP ain't the top PFP fighter in the world, or the UFC. He ain't even in Penn's league. If you want a throwdown on that topic, let's get it on...

Dana's biggest nuthugger back to rip on Strikeforce. It's obvious you didn't even WATCH the Strikeforce show on Saturday evening...

The Shields fight was entertaining - two guys going at it - some solid BJJ skills - so if you understand that (and you obviously don't, since you'd rather watch GSP lay and pray - if you want boring, the GSP/Kos fight has it ALL over Shields/Miller) but since you won't be able to get GSP's nuts out of your mouth, I won't expect a reply...

Sure there were some issues - but guess what, early Dana PPV's for the UFC had many more issues. And unlike you, I've been around watching the UFC since the very first event.... and bought the event that ran over and because it was on PPV, it went black. Now THAT was a disappointment - Strikeforce going over isn't a huge deal. And since it was free, you whining about it is ... laughable. Dana White wouldn't have his best fighters on a free card. EVER.
Posted Tuesday November 03, 2009, About: White ready to let Henderson walk
You clearly don't understand MMA at all. The fact that most fighters get a raw deal from the UFC (they've had pay issues with Tito Ortiz and Randy Couture, you may have heard of them ... among others) is the issue. The UFC wants to be recognized as a sports giant. Well, until they start acting like one, and paying the talent (that's the fighters dummy) they will be nothing more than Dana White's personal fiefdome... (the four major sports leagues in the US - the talent get between 45-65% of the revenue, in the UFC, it's closer to 10%...)

Do the people at the asylum know you are out of your room and using the computer? Time for another pill for you. Take the blue one...
Posted Tuesday November 03, 2009, About: White ready to let Henderson walk
With every post you make, you show how little you truly know about MMA. Keep it up, and we'll soon realize you know absolutely nothing...

Hendo has one of the top resumes in all of MMA. Period. This is a fact. You can't dispute it (well, you will try, and you'll come off looking stupid...).

Hendo hasn't aged like Liddell. He has NEVER been knocked out. He took Rampage (the champ) the distance. He was the first fighter in the UFC to win a round against Silva, he beat down the former MW champ in Franklin, and he absolutely DESTROYED the UK poster boy for the UFC, Michael Bisping.

If anything, you've simply never had a brain, so it doesn't matter how many shots to the head you've taken...

Hendo is not promoted like the UFC's homegrown stars, and yet true MMA fans know that Hendo is better than ANY of the UFC's homegrown product. Period.

Go watch tiddlywinks. You might understand that game. You clearly don't understand MMA.

Buh-bye now...
Posted Tuesday October 27, 2009, About: Rua takes blame for Machida loss
Why are the experts at EVERY MMA site saying Rua got robbed? Why did Dana White say Rua won the fight AND issue an immediate rematch? Look, it's clear to anyone who is objective (which you aren't) that Rua won the fight. And for the record, I am a huge fan of Lyoto. But he didn't do enough to defend his title. Period.

When EVERYTHING points to a bad decision, it's clear it was a bad decision. But you keep tellling yourself that Lyoto won. You probably think Bisping beat Hammill. Two of three judges should be enough proof for you...
Posted Tuesday October 27, 2009, About: Rua takes blame for Machida loss
Um, no. The Jackson fight was close and yet the title changed hands.

Two of three judges thought Bisping beat Hammill. So clearly judges are more than human, some of them are stupid.

One judge in the Lyoto/Rua fight gave round 5 to Lyoto. Exactly which fight was HE watching???
Posted Tuesday October 27, 2009, About: Rua takes blame for Machida loss
You can post the same drivel thirteen ways if you want - that doesn't make it true. Look at Lyoto after the fight, his leg was messed up, and his pretty face was a little less pretty. Rua won the fight. Stop being a Lyoto nuthugger...
Posted Tuesday October 27, 2009, About: Rua takes blame for Machida loss
Um no. That was Rampage being classy right after the fight in defeat (which is funny seeing what a dick he is on TUF).

The Rampage fight was closer than the Lyoto fight. Rampage wobbled Forrest in the first ... something Lyoto didn't do at ALL in his fight.
