the Marlins need fans to survive. To have fan that support the team, you have to be good to the fans. It isn't only the championship. If you win it, you don't get fan support by selling your best players and starting again. You have to maintain a basis to keep a good team and have a successful season. They won't make it with a new stadium and new players!

Of course he is. It is his only defense. He is a lousy manager, and the only thing he can come up with is to blame everyone else for his faults and call them racists. He can not be criticized because he is black! Racism is alwayay at falult when somebody who is not white is criticized. I think it is time for all us to grow up and start accepting our own failures.
