Posted Thursday July 31, 2008, About: Packers desperate to deal Favre
"You're right: it's like soap opera. But like those, the level of drama is pretty poor, the actors kinda stink, the plot lines are thin, the whole thing is becoming redundant and soon will become tedious. I don't know about anybody else, but we've done the "man-boy shirks coming of age" plot-line to death and I'm about to change channels. The only issue now is where he will end up playing. If it's division, it's Vikings."

If he goes to the Vikings, if will be a media frenzy on an epic scale considering the Monday Night opener. At that point, Truth and Rumors could change their name to Favre and Rumors

"I think most of us are somewhat disgusted with Brett over this though. He's had his moment in the spotlight, if he has to come back, then mentor the starting qb in Green Bay. Don't flip off your fans and ask for a ticket out of town.

But having a HoF career doesn't mean you have HoF class. And once the dust settles its looking more and more like Brett is all about Brett.

You are shocked more of us aren't backing him?"

Oh I don't care what you think of the player. I am just loving all of the talk. People complainging that there are too many Bret Favre stories are what I was complaining about. IMO, this is good stuff, and there are plenty more Bret Favre posts coming, so quit yer whining. (those are are whining)

You're all a bunch of whiners. When a story comes along where a HOF player, coming off a statistically solid year no less, is no longer wanted by his team, there can never be enough speculation and rumor. This is juicy football drama at its finest. These farve stories by far beat the loads of non-stories they usually throw on this site.
Posted Friday May 30, 2008, About: Young: I wasn't going to quit
The pressure for Vince to perform has to be intense. Unfortunately for him, a card board cut out of a receiver could rival their starters right now.
Posted Friday May 30, 2008, About: Packers removing Favre's locker
This locker should be bronzed and roped off!
Posted Friday May 23, 2008, About: Young sorry for Internet photos
At least he has good taste in Tequila. Still, a bunch of dudes standing around in a club with their shirts off... Was this at the Blue Oyster bar?

KWJ for Lito Sheppard, get it done!
Posted Friday May 23, 2008, About: Horn disgruntled in Atlanta
Joe Horn was a go-to guy?
Posted Thursday May 22, 2008, About: Benson: 'Truth will come out'
Just another in a LONG series of running back busts for the Bears. I almost feel sorry for them. Almost.
Posted Wednesday May 21, 2008, About: Free-agent receivers calling Dolphins
He is an advertisement.
Posted Tuesday May 20, 2008, About: Benson, Urlacher skip workout
"I do agree with you Hortag. But I do think one of those factors here regarding Benson is the belief he is guilty. This T&R is about Benson as well as Urlacher. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I do not recall fannation ever using a disparaging photo of Urlacher who's certainly no boy scout either."

If they had a disparaging photo of Urlacher, I don't think they would hesitate to use it.
Posted Monday May 12, 2008, About: Raiders work out Nebraska QB
"Is there any need for a 6th string quarterback anywhere in the NFL? Although this is the Raiders they're talking about."

Only for the Buc's. They apparently need several QB's.
Posted Monday May 12, 2008, About: Why Bengals won't sign Alexander
"Because the Bengals are not capable of making good decisions. Alexander will probably put up big numbers with another team now."

I have to agree w/ 50yearfan. The only real benefit I could see Alexander bringing to a team is in more of a mentor ship role.
Posted Friday May 09, 2008, About: Alexander waiting on Bengals
Shaun Alexander is soft. I feel for the team who signs him to find this out first hand.
Posted Friday May 09, 2008, About: Patriots taped offensive signals
I think when Bill wears a tuxedo, the sleeves are cut off.
Posted Thursday May 08, 2008, About: Wild coach weighing future
I love Jacques Lemaire, but I think it's time for him to move on. The Wild need to go in another direction.
Posted Thursday May 01, 2008, About: Big Ben: I didn't influence draft
Non story.
Posted Friday April 25, 2008, About: Packers may sign Culpepper
"Who seriously believes that because of the signing of Allen to the vikings roster, that SUDDENLY they are the team to beat in the NFC central. OMG, LMAO!!! Sorry, not even close to reality. The whole central division may very well implode, and NO ONE will be invited to the show at the end of the year because they ALL SUCK! This MAY (notice I said.."may") very well be one ugly season."

Detroit will make the run this year! This is the year they put it all together, for five games. Then implode. I still say the Pack are the team to beat. The only team making any legit improvements are the Vikings, and that isn't saying much.
Posted Friday April 25, 2008, About: Packers may sign Culpepper
Please do NOT sign Culpepper. Have we not learned anything from seeing him twice a year?
Posted Friday April 25, 2008, About: Vikings like USC tight end
Year of the classic Viking collapse. Of course, that is ever year.
Posted Friday April 25, 2008, About: Why Bucs lost out on Allen
RE: CheatingPatriots - HAHA - Dude, you make the worst troll attempts on this web site. Keep trying, you'll get the hang of it.

Don't forget Dwight Smith. Guy was arrested several times after the 'boat' incident , so yes they have had suspect players. Although he was cut this year.

As for the trade. Totally worth it. What a weak group of players to draft this year. A win for the Vikings, though I don't like to admit that. The contract they gave Allen was ridiculous though.
