Its a terrible idea to trade to the Pats and I dont think it will happen. The Pats are not gonna give us the 7th pick so for those of you thinking that it wont happen. At best Miami will get a second round pick and knowing the Pats it wil probably be a 3rd or 4th round pick!

Brian Brohm is not a 1st round QB, Miami can wait at 32 and still get him!

I see the Pats trading for Taylor. He is their kind of player. Great motor, great smarts, great attitude. Plus, he's bringing some Dolphin secrets with him (if Parcells is silly enough to let him go to the Pats--he isn't).

Isnt that a contradiction? Taylor will not go to the Patriots, they would not want to pick up another DE that is on a two year deal. i dont think Miami wants to move that high up but who really knows.....I believe they will try to get back into the mid to late 1st round to get a QB or DL but hey tomorrow will tell.

Just an opinion...What do you guys think about trading Taylor and the 32nd pick to just move up a few slots, say to 27 where the Chargers are shopping their pick? This way Miami could get back in the first round and probably secure a QB like Flacco and dump the salary that Taylor has with him! We might possibly even pick up a late pick also. Just a thought tell me what you think!

The problems with Taylor going to Cleveland is that they are not contenders and I believe he would probably retire before going to another team that is not a contender, same thing for Houston. No way does Miami give up their best player for a 4th round pick, especially to an foe in the same division!

Kansas City Chief's will offer a third round draft choice and Damon Huard to Miami for Jason Taylor. This will free them up to draft Matt Ryan in the fifth pick and get the OT in the Seventeenth pick. This is all contingent that Matt Ryan is available and Chris Long is not available.

Ummm you must be a Kansas City fan to think this is gonna happen....lol.....no insult intended but that would be a stupid trade for Miami to say the least. Huard has not been successful anywhere he has ever been. To think that Miami would give up a Pro Bowl player like Taylor for a QB that cant play and a 3rd round pick is silly. Miami still is gonna want ppl to watch them play this year and no one will come see Huard. I personally think Ryan is going to go to Atlanta though!

Yeah umm sorry this is not gonna happen.....lol.....Huard is a bum who has never really been successful anywhere he has ever been. Seriously why give up Taylor for a QB that has no potential and a 3rd round pick? I have seen stranger things but I dont believe this is possible. Parcells would probably rather see Taylor play this year in Miami than make a move like that. All said and done I think Taylor will move before the trade and Miami will get good value for him. The thing I find funny is that not one Miami fan or for that matter not one real football fan thought Taylor was old or that his value was low before Miami started talking about trading him. Parcells is gonna get value out of this guy or he just wont trade him. But like I said I believe a trade will be done soon!

Also I think that if Miami makes this trade it will probably include the 32nd pick which Miami also owns along with Taylor. Though some would not particularly like that scenario, for a rebuilding team its not bad to unload Tayalor's salary and a pick to just back into the top 10-15 of this draft.

I think the point that is being missed here is that not any team will give up a 1st round pick, but some CONTENDING teams that are obviously not rebuilding would giveup a !st round pick for a guy like Jason Taylor. You dont need older guys if you are rebuilding but some top teir teams that are one or two players away will make this trade I think. Everyone is looking at the whole league but Miami only needs one team to think Taylor is worth it. If Pacman Jones can get traded and he is suspended then I am sure we can get great value, yes a 1st round pick, for a man that just won the Defensive POY award not long ago!
