Wonderful blog, as is your usual. Always a great read.

Bears and Bulger. I like that match a lot.
Posted Sunday August 26, 2007, About: NFL Draft 2001 Re-Make
I'm liking Brees to the Browns. That would have worked nicely.
And Stroud on Da Bears.....that's almost unfair lol.
Posted Sunday August 26, 2007, About: NFL Draft 2002 Re-Make
I think Shockey would have gone somewhere in the top ten. He's a top 3 TE when healthy.
Other than that, I think once again you nailed it. All the players seem to fit the systems you assigned them. Nice job.
Posted Sunday August 26, 2007, About: NFL Draft 2003 Re-Make
Hmmm.
I think the Bengals would have stuck with Palmer at one. They really needed a QB at the time, and he's probably the third best QB in the league (maybe fourth, depends on where you put Brees.) I would just flip flop your first two. With Palmer off the board, the Lions would swipe LJ quickly, and he would have been a better franchise back than Kevin Jones.

Oooo....I like the Turner pick. That was smart thinking.

I would be glad to help. I'm happy someone is taking some iniative to improve the site.
Posted Saturday August 25, 2007, About: NFL Draft 2004 Re-Make
Oooo....I don't know about Bob Sanders that high...he's injured quite often....
And I doubt the Chargers would take Jackson, they have LT, and he was doing great even then, they just werent winning.

But there are a few picks I love:
Harris to the Cards
Williams to the Giants
Fitz to the Falcons

Well done again, I like it for the most part. Nice blog.
Posted Saturday August 25, 2007, About: NFL Draft 2005 Re-Make (Idea from IrishR#1)
Merriman would be a beast in Miami.
But Mark Clayton still going in the first? No way.
He looks more and more like a bust as time goes on....
And Ronnie Brown....I'm just not a fan of him.
But other than that, I like it. I think you fit the players to great systems.
Nice blog.

Delhomme looked alright.
His receivers? Not so hot.
Did you see those drops? Shameful....
Nice blog, by the way.
Posted Saturday August 25, 2007, About: Packers clear roster space...
Wow! Was this to get down to the roster max or just to cut people?
Eleven in one go, jeez.....

If not Zabransky, maybe Leak.
But I think Zabransky is fine.
Posted Friday August 24, 2007, About: Drew Brees Should Have Been Co-MVP Last Season.
Brees should have won it outright.
The MVP award is awarded incorrectly quite often. It's the Most VALUABLE player.
Think about it. The Chargers without LT would be worse, but would still have a winning record.
The Saints would be NOTHING without Brees.
He should have had it. Good blog.

I'd say you got a pretty good team going there.

They do have a talented roster. But chances are, they will be on the couch come playoff time.

Mitch Kupchak: Happy Birthday, Kobe! Here's your present!

Kobe: Oh boy, what is it?

Kupchak: A trade to the Timberwolves!

Kobe:...........you really hate me, don't you?
Posted Wednesday August 22, 2007, About: 2005 NFL Remake
I like it...very good.
The only one I slightly disagree with is Brown to the Cards. Maybe it's just because I'm not a Ronnie Brown guy, but I'm not sold on him that high.
Otherwise, great job.
Posted Wednesday August 22, 2007, About: My Letter to the Moderators
Nice blog.
In particular, I like the "overtime" idea in point 1 and the truce button feature. Those two additions would eliminate two glaring problems.
Posted Wednesday August 22, 2007, About: 49ers.....NFC West Watch out!!!!!
We'll have to see how all these new additions pan out and play together. Don't forget all those years the 'Skins grabbed all those great players, and it translated to nothing on the field.

Also, the Niners don't have the element of surprise. Last year they did surprisingly well and many sports writers are hailing them as this year's dark horse. Garnering that much attention has put them on other team's radars, and they won't be able to sneak up on people like last year.

^Maybe there should be a feature where users could refer other users for moderator priveledges. Of course, that feature would be abused, most likely.

Haha, I was wondering if anyone would pick that up.

^I was curious as to that myself, G.O.A.T.
