And Stroud on Da Bears.....that's almost unfair lol.
Other than that, I think once again you nailed it. All the players seem to fit the systems you assigned them. Nice job.
I think the Bengals would have stuck with Palmer at one. They really needed a QB at the time, and he's probably the third best QB in the league (maybe fourth, depends on where you put Brees.) I would just flip flop your first two. With Palmer off the board, the Lions would swipe LJ quickly, and he would have been a better franchise back than Kevin Jones.
And I doubt the Chargers would take Jackson, they have LT, and he was doing great even then, they just werent winning.
But there are a few picks I love:
Harris to the Cards
Williams to the Giants
Fitz to the Falcons
Well done again, I like it for the most part. Nice blog.
But Mark Clayton still going in the first? No way.
He looks more and more like a bust as time goes on....
And Ronnie Brown....I'm just not a fan of him.
But other than that, I like it. I think you fit the players to great systems.
Nice blog.
His receivers? Not so hot.
Did you see those drops? Shameful....
Nice blog, by the way.
Eleven in one go, jeez.....
But I think Zabransky is fine.
The MVP award is awarded incorrectly quite often. It's the Most VALUABLE player.
Think about it. The Chargers without LT would be worse, but would still have a winning record.
The Saints would be NOTHING without Brees.
He should have had it. Good blog.
Kobe: Oh boy, what is it?
Kupchak: A trade to the Timberwolves!
Kobe:...........you really hate me, don't you?
The only one I slightly disagree with is Brown to the Cards. Maybe it's just because I'm not a Ronnie Brown guy, but I'm not sold on him that high.
Otherwise, great job.
In particular, I like the "overtime" idea in point 1 and the truce button feature. Those two additions would eliminate two glaring problems.
Also, the Niners don't have the element of surprise. Last year they did surprisingly well and many sports writers are hailing them as this year's dark horse. Garnering that much attention has put them on other team's radars, and they won't be able to sneak up on people like last year.
Haha, I was wondering if anyone would pick that up.
