Overused by Baker? Ya gotta be kidding me.

The guy has pitched over 200 innings once in his career, with no more than 3 CGs in a season. The guy has always been hurt and couldn't pitch more than 200 inns even if his manager wanted him to.

Pitchers these days are wimps. Can't imagine guys like Gibson, Ryan, Drysdale doing the same.

Daniels was doomed from the start, since Hicks refuses to give him the flexibility he needs to put together a solid team. I seriously doubt any GM working the majors today would do much better than Daniels. Give the kid a break!
