That was good!
You know how the offense will dress someone up in say a red shirt in practices to simulate a particular opposing player in practices to help people key in on him?
Well ... they should dress the kick returner up as a towel dispenser to teach Reed how to tackle during kickoffs.
Just to embarrass the **** out of him!
Thank you .. thank you!
I'll be here all week!
LOL!
Too bad Jeff Reed doesn't tackle kick returners the way he tackles paper towel dispensers in convenience store bathrooms.
Isn't that EXACTLY how Mangini got hired?
Like maybe as a slot receiver?
Or ... a kicking tee?
POW!
Well, not YET ... if the Bears can try to convert a former DB and kick returner to WR .. why not Cutler to .. say ... any and all of the above?
I think he threw 3 INTs and lost a fumble in each of his two AFC Championship Games. The Steelers held onto the guy at least two years longer then they should have IMO. Then he kept ripping the organization when he was in Chicago for that one year after Cowher finally showed him the door.
Ya know ... Jay Cutler kinda reminds me of a white Kordell Stewart.
Yep .. and that's besides spelling "CAT"!
"They had the best defense in the world"
Ummm ... homer much?
Racking up defensive stats vs some of he worst competition in the league hardly qualifies as "best defense in the world".
Seriously ...
Homer much?
Was it the system's fault that your kid couldn't handle the freakin' snap from center too?
Ty Willingham?
Kinda like your team just did? :D
It took you 35 posts to come up with THAT?
Maybe someone can mail Ocho Droppo a GPS ... so he can find the end zone.
So yeah .. he's just tearing it up!
Ocho Droppo should do what the classy Marvin Harrison did ...
1) get open
2) catch football
3) score touchdown
4) SHUT MOUTH
Oh ... and "Repeat"
That's pretty important too.
Don't blame us because we didn't have to play you to win the last two Super Bowls we won recently.
That would be your team's own damn fault for not playing good enough in the playoffs those years (like Tom Terrific's mega-choke job vs the Broncos) to allow a Patriots/Steelers match-up to take place.
We beat the teams that were put in front of us.
And your team has nobody to blame but themselves that they weren't one of them.
Stop crying about the refs already!
The refs didn???t make Seattle: 1) drop passes all over the field, 2) catch TD passes out of bounds, 3) push off on a defender in the end zone to make a catch right in front of the ref, 4) strangle (then tackle) an admitted off-sides Clark Haggans on a "holding" call, 5) throw a costly INT, 6) miss 2 field goals, 7) have Hasselbeck grossly mis-manage the play clock at the end of both halves - calling audibles that ate time off the clock and throwing 6 yard passes IN BOUNDS when he should have been going for the endzone, or 8) fail to remember that the Steelers (Randle El in particular) occasionally threw the ball out of the reverse.
Funny how, out of 20-plus people who watched the game at the party I was at (in Chicago), not ONE bitched about the officiating - not even the cowboys fan who was pretty mad that the Steelers just tried his team for five rings with the win. And even Hasselbeck (and Holmgren) both admitted ???The Steelers played well enough to win tonight, and we didn't.???
For every BAD call that you say cost them the game, I can easily give an example where a lack of execution by the Hawks cost them the game too.
I didn't even notice he HAD a face until I read the headline.
It's good to see another honest Bears fan who's not towing the typical "Lovie is umm ... GREAT ... well ...because ... uhhh ... he's OUR coach!!!" line.
There's NO WAY the McCaskeys overhaul the coaching staff. Remember when they gave "All the pieces are in place" Wannstedt a coaching extension after he had mediocre seasons .. only to end up having to then fire him and pay him anyway?
Do you really think they want that egg on their face a second time if they have to do the same thing with Lovie now too?
Bears ownership HATES admitting mistakes!
"The Bears will beat the Browns today by 30-something points and all this stops. Hilarious..."
As if beating a team that's dead LAST in the league in defense and 2nd to last in offense by 30 points (with the help of 5 turnovers) would prove anything.
Teams you NEVER brag about beating .. by ANY margin: Lions, Chiefs, Rams, Raiders, Bills, and Browns.
