However, I do believe that if Lane Kiffin could have guaranteed to Al Davis that his father would join the Raiders after the Bucs' season then Rob Ryan would have been served his walking papers.
Lance Briggs would be a solid pickup for the 49ers but they sure should invest in a more important position. Briggs would benefit from playing next to Patrick Willis, like the way he benefits from playing next to Urlacher. He really isn't all that great, otherwise he would be playing the strong side of the defense.
If there were guys in Europe that could hold Kobe to 10 points a game, believe me, they would be here in the states making millions.
