yep cardsfan2 is right.

if they move the brewers back and go 15 and 15 they can fix the schedule by doing one interleague series at a time instead of all of them at the same time. i've seen the math done by a writer for sports weekly i believe it was. and it makes complete sense.

phil2k why give up votto? don't listen to our local papers hype machine. they want you to focus only on jay bruce and bailey. votto is an all around hitter not just home runs. he is the exact kind of hitter the reds have needed for a while now. the reds live and die by the homerun. we need guys like votto who hit doubles and singles to get men on base and moving. you can't ever expect a ring on your finger when you live and die by homeruns as we do. i honestly wouldn't part with votto for anyone. same goes for cueto.

not worth giving up two top prospects and anyone who thinks its a good move obviously isn't looking at this clearly. why give up votto or cueto? votto is gonna be a mega star which is why he is on everyone's list in a trade. i can part with bailey because cueto is better. give them drew stubbs. stubbs may have good defense but his plate command isn't exactly wonderful. he seems like another adam dunn only with good defense. homerun, k,k,fly out, k,k,walk, homerun

philly has deserved this team for a while now. philly has always been an avid (sometimes too intense) sports town. this team will def be very well supported. i agree with the miami resentment. they failed once and they prob will again. look at all the failed or failing sports franchises in the state of florida in the past 15 years. the state has more than it can handle and what really makes anyone think miami can handle it this time around? they only support the heat because they win now, didn't support the fusion well, only support the panthers when they win, the only attend marlins games when its world series time. the dolphins are the only team that city has ever supported on a regular basis. there support for sports is appauling especially for a city that size.

dusty took the cubs further than anyone in recent history and did quicker than anyone else. i don't believe lou did that this year with the cubs. and didn'nt did the cubs have a huge payroll increase? oh yeah i think they did "a giants fan". now we just need another starting pitcher and some middle relievers. i'm glad we're not the cubs and stuck with average pitcher with a fat contract like zambrano. man if he played in our stadium instead of giving up like 7 runs every game he'd give up 10. im glad someone with money like chicago is blind and in puppy love with him.

Glad to see Philly is finally getting there team. The Sons of Ben prove that city deserves the term more than nearly all American cities without a team. I've always been convinced if you had any sports league Philly would support it well and among best in the league. Give them a full contact ping pong league and they'll sell out the arena.

portland, las vegas, san antonio, hell any city out of the state of florida would show this team more love. florida as a state has too many sports teams and most of the teams draw poorly. all the old people down there are running out of cash to support a team.
