OS-WHO????
Hats off to Ohio's first and finest, mission accomplished bobcats, expose and embarress!!
Example. OSU doesn't have the recievers to compete against legitamate competition. Any good D coord with a fast secondary will just put 9 guys at the line and stop wells. Secondly boekman is a joke, he is not a big time college QB capable of winning a national title.
Now I quarentee, every OSU fans post on here will have RANKINGS and some stat from against a MAC school. Trying to tell us how good they are. LIKE I SAID THE ONLY PLACE THEY ARE GOOD ARE IN THEIR FANS MIND.
Sorry i didn't spell check this before i posted, I dont have that kind of time.
And while I'm on here I might as well respond to your buddy rockhound. In regards to the 80% numbers, if you truly are on the faculty at OSU. Then you know as well as I do, that if those numbers are kept in regards to classes taught by TA's then OSU would NEVER make them public. But since you kept asking, I'll respond. A good friend of mine turned down a prof job at OSU because he said "I got into this to be educator and with the research requirments at OSU. I'd never see the classroom, they are more concered about the research you can do, so they can get their name it in the paper." But you wouldn't know about research requirments, your posting on message boards at 2 am just like wing.
John Groce knows where the best school in Ohio is.
Not to mention we just recieved the largest donation that ANY school in Ohio has EVER recieved. 102 million from the Russ family.
And I work in Miami now, and have been on two Multi billion dollar projects. One with Miami international airport and one with everglades restoration. Programs that involve multiple engineering firms and multiple disciplines of engineers, and I have yet run across an OSU grad down here. ". That is what university should be judged on. The masses, not the elite select few.
ar biologists, are smart dudes, And there are only a few places in the entire country where you can get that type of education. Ohio State being one of them. But those type of students and programs are great for TV commericals and propoganda. They represent such small portion of theoverall graduates, that the quality of your teachers, engineers, and buisness majors is not up to par with the other universities. Those are majors where so many of the faculty aren't involved in the classroom except to give the TA the syllabis. And while all the great minds that come out of your specialized programs are great, the ma

But keep resorting to posting simple statements saying your better with no rational or logic. You just keep proving my point.
let me ask you this. Would you rather have a pie from the pie factory in the city or from the old lady down the street that makes it by hand?
Bottom line is all those degree programs and specialized majors make for great TV commercials for your University but what good is if is there no jobs in those fields. You ever hear the saying, "I'd rather be great at one thing, than good at a lot of things"
Also, the more students you have the more classes and bigger size classes you have. Yes, OSU has the latest technology but what good is it if you have some TA or grad student teaching the class and not the proffessor who is actually doing the research on the technology. Feel free to look it up, 80 percent of the classes that are taught at OSU are taught by the TA, not by the proffesors. Thats not the case at smaller, "normal enrollement", schools. Huge classes taught by a TA, not excatlly the best learning enviroment. But please enlighten us more with your vast knowledge of higher education.
"What's your major?
Sanskrit.
Sanskrit? You're majoring in a 5000 year-old dead language? Get out of here."
