Posted Wednesday May 07, 2008, About: Bulls put D'Antoni on hold for Avery
Avery Johnson would be a better personal fit for John Paxson, as they share the same philosophies on basketball. But if the Bulls want to make money and create excitement within the community, they would be better off with D'Antoni. The Bulls would be fun to watch and definetly bring more fans to the arena.
Posted Monday May 05, 2008, About: Bolden denies trade request
How long will it be before teams refuse to acquire Rosenhaus players, or at least shy away? I dont understand why players cant just live by the contract and do their job until its time for a new deal.. Mostly with guys who arent winners or have barely proven anything yet in the NFL.
Posted Monday May 05, 2008, About: Benson on thin ice with Bears
Cedric Benson is probably now the most hated athlete in Chicago among fans and teamates. There's no way he can come back and not be booed every time hes gets a carry.
Posted Monday May 05, 2008, About: Report: D'Antoni can talk with teams
Yes, the Hawks would be a good fit.. it would bring some permanent fans to the arena and give the franchise a huge boost. Not to mention that this team is young and talented and has the parts to make trades for D'Antonis type of players.
Posted Monday May 05, 2008, About: Wizards to keep Big 3 intact
As if the Wiz have a choice. Its not like theyre going to let Arenas walk away and get nothing back. They can always move him if he proves to be "cancer" this upcoming season, although he claims to want to just fit in now. We'll see when the season starts if the old Gilbert comes out firing like a madman again.
Posted Thursday May 01, 2008, About: Iverson to follow Carter's lead
The Nuggets might as well re-sign Iverson if its only going to be a three year deal because they can always move him later. AI still averaged over 26 ppg last year and has value shoud they try to trade him. And I dont really think Denver has the guts to let Iverson go and blow up the team anyway.
Posted Thursday May 01, 2008, About: Knicks interested in Avery
While the Knicks would be ecstatic to land Avery, I dont think he would win more than 30-35 games with the team as it is now, considering the egos and baggage of the players. So Avery, keep your options open and a better job will present itself.
Posted Thursday May 01, 2008, About: Alexander interested in Bengals
The Bengals need youth at the running back position. Rudi Johnson has a lot of wear and tear on his body and Alexander is 30. But somebody will sign Alexander and if hes motivated he could add some quality depth at the position. I just dont see him playing anywhere close to the level he did in '05.
