Love Sanders's game. It would be nice if both Ellis and Jennings were gone next season. I miss Bogut and wasn't happy about that trade. But it's a hard thing when he's constantly injured. Happy to be rooting for him and the Warriors though.
Posted Wednesday March 20, 2013, About: Rodgers could cost Pack $160M
Rogers has been underpaid for years now and has been a true sport about it. He still has great talent around him. It's hilarious the comments out there that suggest that now because Aaron is finally about to get paid that now there is no talent around him. Those free agents and veterans that have walked were injured last year anyway. GB still went to the divisional round of the playoffs without those guys and a large number of other injured starters who are still on the team. Yet now when those injured players are back and healthy the Packers are only going to go 6-10??? Put the crack pipe down Viking fan and take a look at Philly's dreamteam before you start making your dreams realities based on paper and no football played. Rodger's deal is not going to bankrupt the Packers. Free agency is not done, and the draft hasn't happened. Just because Green Bay chose not to overpay for veterans and preferred putting their money in one of the best QB's to ever play doesn't mean they're going 6-10 now. Good luck with that 6-10 pipe dream. And every fan knows if Aaron was available as a FA that they'd want their team to pick him up and they'd be paying just as much as the Packers are going to end up paying. Good grief... There's a reason why despite all the moves for the other NFCN teams that the Packers are still favored in the division over the rest of them. Viking fan is a foolish homer. Good luck next season.

The Packers are now on the bottom of the NFCN? Wow... You might want to give your crystal ball a tune up. Here we go again with the paper champions declarations that happen every offseason. Lets play the season first, and not forget why the other teams in the NFCN are making all of these deals and why one hasn't, yet. In the meantime, refresh your memory and review the 2011 Eagles, and please tell us who your starting QB is going to be for 2013. Good grief, man...

Maybe worthless to you. Are you really just hung up on the term "stock"? Who cares? You exercised your opinion by not buying any. Call it what you wish. Hate it all you wish. but it is ironic that those who bought nothing are more up in arms about it than those who are happy to own it.
Posted Wednesday July 11, 2012, About: Packers cleared more than $40M in profit in 2011
Pretty sure the "worthless stock" was used for stadium renovations. Put down the stock all you wish, but in reality people from all walks of life find ways to blow that amount of money on other things and have nothing to show for it. So what if fans spent that little sum of money on some team pride. Maybe peeps should tread on those who spend that amount on a bottle of wine, fireworks, concert tickets, whatever... It's very telling when fans of other teams try to rip the fans of the Packers because they simply bought something they wanted. Packer fans are sorry that your team is owned by some rich white guy who is only going to ask for tax money for a new stadium when that time comes.

This Packer fan has nothing but respect for this cat. He's a football player's football player whom I wish was on my team. Bears, please, make this mistake....

So how can you claim "reality and common sense" yet call proof a "pesky little thing"? NOTE: This comment isn't about blind adoration. I bring this question under the real definition of common sense. I also wonder what would make a man any better than those he accuses when they claim they would plunk the accused at every at bat. Hey man, I'm only calling out your own logic here. Doesn't sound to me you're character is any better than the guy you hate.
Posted Monday January 09, 2012, About: Super similarities stacking up for Giants
Good luck Giants. Unfortunately for you though GB's QB throws to dudes in the same colored jersies, unlike their QB last time around. Giants may have some healthy players back, but the Pack does too. Better get to Rodgers before he gets to you. Should be a good game.
Posted Monday December 26, 2011, About: New flaw exposed in Packers
There's an asterisk here though, 50. Yards allowed kinda gets flushed because of the interceptions. They're pretty good in the red zone as well. Being as good as they are at those two things, yards allowed is a mirage. And these aren't just one-off accomplishments. Their D literally gets 2 picks a game, with decent returns for good field position, and have a few pick 6's too. It's so consistent you can count on it, which makes yards allowed meaningless. If you look at the scores of their games, many games are won by those very interceptions. How bad is that defense now?
Posted Monday December 26, 2011, About: New flaw exposed in Packers
Hey, it's not as bad as the Cutler one. Cutler's is terrible. It's time to refresh all of these pics for petes sake.
Posted Monday December 26, 2011, About: Time to worry about Peterson's future
Allow me to dispute your "facts." 1st, speculation does not equal fact. Here is a real fact for you though, at the beginning of the season the Packers were the 3rd youngest team in the league, younger than the Vikes. How is that getting old? True, they are often giving up more yards than they get on offense, yet they are 14-1. Points is the deciding factor, not yards. My prediction, Vikes lose both games next season, badly...

Yes, we need him back, pronto... those other receivers lost a lot of their luster without him in there.
Posted Friday December 16, 2011, About: Cubs make most $en$e for Fielder
Most sense? I can't remember how many articles I read last season about how broke the Cubs were. And on a side note, don't the Cubs have a stadium that's endangering fans' lives? Maybe they should step out of this bidding and give their fans a safe place to watch the game first.

Oh boy, another DET coach whose wheels are about to fall off the cart. Hey Gunther, if you were the former coach being paid to analyze games, and sees what everybody else sees out of DET, would you be without opinion? Do you honestly think the criticism of DET is unwarranted? DET is an undisciplined team, and it starts at the coaches. Instead of understanding the criticism, you just went ahead and proved their point by challenging them. Well played boy...
Posted Monday December 05, 2011, About: Tim Tebow: MVP candidate
Manning - You cannot give the league MVP to somebody who hasn't played one snap. Where are the Saints without Brees? We have no idea. Just like we have no idea what the Colts record would be to day with Manning. To give an award out to somebody who hasn't earned it is insulting to those who are taking the hits and leading their teams to real, accountable victories. This only fruits a discussion on giving the MVP to retired players now. It's ridiculous.

Tebow - C'mon man... I'm not hating on the man either. Not only has he not played the first 5 games of the season which included some pretty tough teams, is he seriously league MVP? There are three QB's playing the position out of their skulls right now heading deep into the post season, and we're talking about a man who has a mediocre team on a partial winning streak? Remember when people said, "oh Aaron, well he has to get to the playoffs..." "Oh Aaron, well now he needs to win a playoff game..." "Oh Aaron, now he needs to win the Super Bowl..." Aaron Rodgers has done nothing but handle adversity like a champion, is currently a champion after earning it as a 6th seed on the road, and is so far undefeated since becoming one. He's the epidome of MVP and deserves it. No need to even mention his eye popping numbers so far.

And people are trying to justify Tebow as league MVP? I've heard it all now... Not only is the discussion an insult to people like Brees and Rodgers, it's an insult to those who have won the award already. For all we know this whole streak is a one time wonder. Fun to talk about, sure... but c'mon man. How about Tebow earn a spot in the playoffs, then win a playoff game, or at least be on a team that is seriously considered a super bowl contending team first?
Posted Tuesday November 29, 2011, About: Heat turned up on Giants' Fewell
Remember, GB's opponents are giving up 2 interceptions a game. That itself has won a number of games for them. They may give up yards, but they make sure they have plenty of opportunities to gain more yards than their competitor.
Posted Tuesday November 29, 2011, About: Fort Wayne TV station aired Bears, not Colts
I'd be pretty po'd. I remember how bad my Pack was in the 80's and ya darn tootin' i'd be steaming mad if they opted to show a different game than the Packers game. Good ole Fox deciding on their own that Colts fans are bandwagon fans. I bet there's a few people po'd by this. Good job Fox.
Posted Monday November 21, 2011, About: Rodgers deflated after another win
how is it whining when you acknowledge you didn't play well? actually he did play well, just not Aaron Rodgers well. it's better than saying, "wow, I cooked everybody out there! we're unstoppable!" nothing wrong with admitting when you could've played better. whining would be blaming the less than stellar performance on the refs or somebody besides yourself. he didn't do that. he manned up.
Posted Saturday October 22, 2011, About: Rodgers better than Favre at his best
FYI - Favre came into a decent situation too, lets not conveniently forget the teams Favre had early in his career. In fact you could argue Favre's superbowl team was better than Aaron's. favre even had a full strength team to win with. you can also go on record and say that Favre's second superbowl team is better than the one Aaron has right now. Aaron's not vic'd up either. If you don't like comparing a complete career to a fraction of a career, then compare apples to apples with this point in Rodger's career against this point in Favre's career. Two very good GB teams, two very good QB's. These comparison's have already been made and Favre isn't even close. Rodger's is far and away better at this point in his career than Favre was with his. and right now, Aaron has not lost one game for GB, this could not be said of Favre early in his career or late in his career.
Posted Thursday September 15, 2011, About: K-Rod ditching Milwaukee, too?
Yeah, lets just flap off at the keyboard with no facts. Brewers made an offer already, he refused, and both sides put it behind them because the season was starting. But whatever, Prince was asked a question and answered honestly, and answered what was freaking obvious too. It was a stupid question at a stupid time. This KRod dude though, spare me. You are saying it is the Managers job to make a player happy instead of do what's in the best interest of winning. Whatever dude. The only person lieing here is tydavid. Unless tydavid wishes to admit to epic ignorance. Neither of which reflect well on her though...
