Everyone here can make all of the accusations that you want. Hey you're entitled to them, b/c they're your opinion. However, none of you know this kid personally like I do. I was his speed trainer when he was in high school and I know him and his parents. The fact of the matter is Lagarrette has a fire and passion with everything he does, not just football. His actions were immature, but if Oregon could have his fire in all it's players then they would be National Champion. Please take notice that I am not making an excuse for his actions, but in the midst of all his poor decisions he is still a great kid.

UM signed 3 QB's last year with 2 redshirting. One is a 6'7 stud as well. If Marve leaves at least we'll have a QB that knows the system. No game experience, but the QB controversy will be over.

Guys, if you know football then I think most of you will agree with what I have to say. It was not the OC, soft linebackers, d-line, or cornerbacks. As a former QB/RB anytime you play a defense, with a 4-man D-Line you are smiling when you have 6-Off-Linemen. Every play you have an O-lineman or 2 releasing and going after a LB, then a wingback releasing after that to block. The O-line releasing is the best leadblock ever, better than a fullback. The only way to completely shut down the triple option is to go amano - amano with a five man front to let your LB's roam and make plays. GT did alot of cut blocks on the O-line & LB's, so you can't block a LB if you're on the ground after blocking the lineman in front of you. Bring the safety's up and make the QB beat you with his arm. That's how I would have defended it.

I don't like Urban Meyer, but at least he didn't come out with a flakey line like Bobby Bowden did to not allow that tight end leave after his mother had a health condition.So what if a kid can benefit a team. At least he would be putting himself in abetter position than the one he left, and possibly increasing his chances of getting to the NFL. After all it will take 10 more players to beat you even if you allowed the kid to transsfer within the conference

There was also a big money issue that surfaced that Patrick Johnson's Father wanted to get paid. Was it any truth to it I don't know. However, PJ tried to change his mind and go back to UM after the clearing house questioned his huge jump in an ACT test score of more than 12 pts. Can you say mmmmmmmmmm!! HEY FOXX by the way that is freshmen who have proved nonthin at all! they might be track stars but our guys are that fast and have proved to be football stars. harvin sec championship mvp. three games last year with 100 yrds receiving and rushing. murphy nine touchdowns, james three punt returns for touchdowns in just ten games, and while demps and rainey are just freshmen they also alredy have a touchdown each in there very first college game. so whats there college football stats so far buddy?
