Why did Hatcher back down and run when Penquin's George Laraque wanted "to rumble" with him in period one of Game 5?That would have been a good moment to change the momentum of the game. Why did he run like a scared rabbit? I thought the Flyers were tough... that was heartbreaking...Hatcher is a phoney!

There was a group of about twelve Penquin fans outside the Wachovia Center after the game last night, just standing around, watching the Flyer fans leave the building....I understand it was priceless! They were soaking up all the "gloom and doom" and enjoying every minute of it! It was actually a pleasure to see Flyer fans with their big mouths shut...a rare sight, indeed!

Redwings vs Penquins or Redwings vs Flyers
The Red Wings are an excellent hockey team. It is very difficult to find a weak spot in their offense or in their defense. Only one weak spot point may be evident at this point: goal. Outside of that, they are a mirror image of the Penquins in style and talent. The Flyers will only see themselves in the mirror:
clean shaven and on the golf course!

To those Flyer fans who think the Penquins "threw" the final game of the regular season: please be aware that the Flyers were not the most important team on the Penquins' mind. They had a score to settle with the Ottawa Senators from last year's playoffs. Beating the Senators in the first round this year was more important than playing the Flyers! Only the Flyers would think they were motivating the Penquins. Again...more ego than talent with the Flyers

Ovechkin is a "puck hog" His ego is bigger than Malkin himself. When was the last time you saw Ovechkin set up team mate for a score? It is the same curse that brought Jagr to his just end. What goes around comes around! The same
goes for Avery of the Rangers. He did it to himself. Hockey is a game. It is not a place to display your ego and put your needs ahead of the team. Avery needed attention and he got it: in the emergency room! Lesson learned the hard way.
And now come the Flyers. Which one of their players will put himself out there to be the "big hero" and win glory for the Flyers all by himself? Which Flyer will need the most attention? Which Flyer will do the most damage to his team? Which Flyer will join Ovechkin, Jagr, and Avery on the golf course?

Avery did it to himself. He has no one else to blame. Lesson learned: Just play hockey. It is a game. It is not about one player's ego.
