What a garbage sexist statement. Just because you like your women submissive and wearing a path in the carpet from the fridge to your lazy boy bringing you busch beer, doesn't mean every woman should be like that. If women want to fight, let them fight. You can change the channel and not read about it if you don't want to.

Danzig-Guida sounds like a pretty exciting fight. I don't think I would want to drop down and fight Lauzon. He is getting better by the fight and gave KenFlo a good fight his last time out. He's been training with BJ Penn. Only going to get better in that environment

good fight between two strikers if they would match up. You hear a lot about the Japanese promotions working around certain matchups to build their stars up. Was cro-cop ducking him, or could it have been pride wanting to keep cro-cops star shining so he could have the occasional big fight with Fedor or a 200 lb wanderlei silva?

great card. might not be a very good business model. I havent seen any promo's for this fight card on any network station, or cable station for that matter. Only hardcore fans are interested in this card, at this point. now the UFC is offering counter programming. This could be a huge flop. Affliction has money with trump and their clothing business, but there is still a limit on how much good money you can throw down the hole

boxing is totally different than MMA. different stance, different goals in standing. I think it is a good skill to work on, but if you think you are going in with a boxing mentality, you are going to have problems. I think arlovski is intelligent enough to not do that

pure genius running a free event the same night as the Affliction pay per view where the fighter pay is rumored to be around $4 million. The UFC is in business. Yes they want to further the cause of MMA, but not at their own expense. Affliction has come out and signed people that the UFC would have liked to have on their roster (arlovski, rothwell, fedor among others). The UFC fighters don't have to worry about whether the company is going to fold after the next fight card. Many other promotion's fighters cannot say the same thing.

isn't it a free country? why not let the people decide. if they buy tickets and go watch, then let it happen. If the public doesn't want to see it, then they won't buy tickets and the promotions will not hold shows there. 99.9% of policiticans have no business making decisions they feel are on behalf of the everyman. Most have a silver spoon in their mouth, and bow down to the wants and needs of the minority (rich/powerful)

Noons seems like the typical rich kid punk and the Diaz brothers are the street kids that are offended just by the thought that this punk thinks he is better than them because of how he grew up.

And on the streets, if you started fighting someone because they flipped you off, you would go to jail. Is noons and his daddy that insecure that they feel they have to fight because someone shot them the bird. I think the Diaz boys are taking a little too much criticism. Nick was asked to go into the ring and Noons had the nerve to ask his hometown crowd if they felt Diaz deserved a rematch. I think they all could have handled it better, and there is more than enough blame to go around.

somebody needs to bring him back from the dead. Last 7 or 8 fights have been pretty un-impressive. He was a good fighter before the fighters started becoming more well rounded and more able to contend with a wrestler who's 1 trick pony is ground a pound. He should just stay home and make "home movies" with his wife

I bet he is doing his best to discredit rankings. Most of his top fighters are people that have fought in the UFC and lost often enough that they got cut or didn't get their contract renewed. There are some that are not in that situation, but look at lawler, baroni, smith. James thompson, 1/2 of the main event has gotten his butt kicked pretty much everywhere.

Hermes Franca is sitting out a full year and at least he manned up and admitted it. And get your facts straight. 60% of the fighters that night did not test positive

The 16 other fighters on the UFC 73 card passed their drug tests. That included light-heavyweight Stephan Bonnar, who was fighting for the first time since testing positive for a steroid in September. He said he took the drug out of frustration at a nagging elbow injury.
