Look I just saw this and although it is after the actual game I have to say that really even if the Giants lost the game to Carolina, they are still a much better team than Dallas, Philly, or Washington. You have to remember this is the NFL. You are not going to win every game (i.e. New England Patriots). Even the most dominent team is going to stumble, team are going to figure them out. The thing is with the really good teams, they figure out that they have been beating themselves and haven't really been getting beat by their opponent. Dallas beats themselves every time they lose. Same with Philly and not so much with the Redskins, they just stink. Philly was playing out of desperation, and that only takes you so far. Not one time this year have they proven they are actually a good team, because they are NOT a good team, in all actuality they are terrible! Same with Dallas. They are a big name circus. They should be the Barhnam and Bailey Cowboys!!! Goooooo G-men! It's going to be a tough road!

Definitley sign Brandon Jacobs that is a no brainer. Corey Webster needs to stay also. If you have to, you could get away with letting Derrick Ward walk. He is very good, very good, but you have Ahmaad Bradshaw who has proven he is ready but is being lost in the offense due to the fact that there just aren't enough footballs to go around. Now to Amani Toomer. I love Amani Toomer, I always have. He is as clutch as you can get. You need the catch he's got it, you need the points, he'll find a way to get both feet in, and he is still productive. But at the end of the day he is 34. Although I don't see him asking for huge money, I would definitley try to sign him,(if the Giants win another Superbowl, I'm sure he will retire), but I guess (although I hate to say it)he is expendable now with the emergance of Steve Smith who has great hands and is dependable on third down, and Domenik Hixon who also has great hands and can stretch the field with his speed, which Amani has lost over the years. I sure would hate to see a classy respected reciever of his caliber go, but at the end of the day it is a business and you do have to keep your team young if you have the young talent, and the Giants are deep.

Don't understand why 700 Level Lifer says it will be a dog fight between the Giants and the Redskins for third place in the division? That puzzles me because other than add Asante Samuel what did Philly do to improve? Did they finally get a number one reciever? Nope, that drafted Deshawn Jackson, slot guy and return guy at best. Did they finally get a quarterback who can stay healthy through an entire season or doesn't choke in the big games? Nope they still have Donovan McNabb. Do they have an improved O-line? Not that I'm aware of. Do they have a dominent pass rush? Not really. So explain to me how this team is going to go from worst to first (or second). It's not going to happen. Philly let their prime years slip away without a championship. To bad so sad!!!!!!

I don't understand why Toni Romo gets all the praise of being this great quarterback when he's done nothing! I mean seriously his team is stacked on both sides of the ball and he still can't get it done. I think he deserves all of the bad press Eli Manning got. Eli made the playoffs every year that he was a starter for the Giants. That wasn't good enough, he had to win. He won, and did it on the biggest stage in sports! And it's not like in Dallas' past two playoff appearances the team lost. Toni Romo lost both games single handedly. Screw Toni Romo!

I don't care if the Big Ten is leading in recruiting, the conference is weak!! I guarantee the in two years the team that matters in the Big (weak) Ten is Michigan. Why? Because RichRod know whats going on in the the college world and it's not just big lineman that can move north and south. It's fast lineman that can go all directions. The spread offense and pro-style offenses are taking over! Ohio State alway has speed in the skilled positions, but it seems they always get beat by teams who have speed up front. Tressel will either have to join the club or be run out of town ater they back into another National Championship and get killed!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Being from WV you here about OJ Mayo. I'm actually surprised he didn't get into any serious trouble while at USC. The kid has always had serious character flaws. This is a perfect example why you should let high school player try to go to the NBA if they choose to. These type of players don't care what happens to the school, they were there for 1 year just to get to the next level. Never serious student athletes. They move on and the school pays. They don't care.

Buckybadger are you kidding me? Favre was way way worse, he tried to make the Packers except him as GOD! Yes, he had a pretty incredible year last year, but in all actuality, he should have retired about 3 or 4 years ago. Yeah he had the fire this past year, but he's held the Packers back in the previous years. That's just my opion though. I appreciate Brett Farve, but have never been a fan. Remember Strahan is also a first ballot hall of famer, who also loves and enjoys the game just as much and he has yet to hinder his team.
