Brock and Randy is for the title BlackandGoldSSgt. Randy is still the champ. Nog is interim champ which means the winner of Nog/Mir will get the chance at the heavyweight championship against the winner of Brock/Randy. Which I think figures to be Brock he is just to big and strong for any of the heavyweights in UFC. He may never learn how to fight off of his back or how to submit people but his wrestling is good enough that as long as he has good submission defense he will dominate most people in UFC

OSU are a good team, they just can't beat the SEC in Bowl Games thats all. You let them have played a team from antoher conference and they would be the 2 time national champs right now. LOL.. War Eagle.
Posted Sunday August 24, 2008, About: Trouble finding Kimbo opponent
I think Kimbo's size advantage would be to much for Shamrock. If he is the one they chose it will be because of his name only, and the fact that people may buy it to see someone they have heard of fight Kimbo. Yeah people have heard of Tank Abbot, but in all due respect to Tank just the older and white version of Kimbo.

Hey I am of the thought that once he gets more experience on the mat Brock could give Fedor a run just because of his size, speed, and strength. The guy is unreal in those regards. He really needs to get thrown in there with a stud BJJ guy so he can get the experience.
Posted Sunday August 24, 2008, About: Recruit picks Auburn over Bama
I got news for Bama fans Shula isn't coach anymore so anyone that gets arrested is a Saban player. Like it or not. Funny thing is Auburn owned Saban when he was at LSU and had no one to compete with in recruiting. Now he has to compete with Auburn and up and coming Troy for in state recruits. Not only that Tubbs farms Georgia and Florida for recruits also, and there are much better high school programs in those states to get players from than there is in Alabama. Other than Hoover High most other high school teams in Alabama are garbage.

Posted Saturday August 02, 2008, About: Huerta unhappy with UFC contract
Nobody is forcing anyone of these guys to sign crappy contracts. They do it of their own free will. Sports fans are crazy you complain when A-Rod gets 25mil a year and you complain when guys get paid to little. Which way do you want it? All they have to do it stop signing on the dotted line and eventually it will force UFC to start uping the ante.

I have been wanting to see Barnett and Fedor for a long time. I think it could be interesting. Skills wise Fedor is hands down better, but Barnet does have pretty good power. All it would take is a shot like Matt Serra put on GSP in their first title fight and Barnett could take him out. That being said what could happen and what will happen are two different things. Fedor is on another level when it comes to his focus.
Posted Friday July 25, 2008, About: Silva to remain in 185 class
As skinny as Silva is I'm not buying that he gets up to 220 or 212. 200 easily but not 212.
Posted Friday July 25, 2008, About: St. Pierre: I'm better than Fitch
GSP will beat Fitch by a comfortable margin. Fitch is a big step up over Matt Serra, I personally think it will go to the judges but that GSP will win by unanimous decision.

Chuck has to beat Evans before he gets any type of shot. Chuck is 1-2 over his last 3, with those 2 losses both KO's. Evans is 16-0-1, so he may get the next shot if he beats Chuck.

Let's not forget that Anderson Silva is moving up to 205. He wins his fight and he might get the next shot at Forrest.

There is nothing more that I would love besides for them to bury Alabama, but I don't see them burying LSU. Winning against them maybe, but burying them, not going to happen.
Posted Saturday May 17, 2008, About: Couture lurking for future fight
I have seen a couple of fedor's fights. Not a lot and when he fought Cro Cop that was a bad ass fight. I would like to see him and Randy hook it up. I think given enough time to prepare Randy can beat damn near anybody in the world. Sure Chuck did beat him twice, but i think Chuck just has his number that doesn't mean Chuck is a better fighter. That beings said I am pretty d@mn sure that Fedor hits quite a bit harder than the Iceman so Randy is going to be in for the fight of his life standing up. If Randy gets him on the ground though I think its a toss up and the only place he has a real chance of beating Fedor

I like ND and after the season that they had last year I don't think I would be talking crap about a team that has stomped a mudhole into ND two years running. Recruiting great classes is one thing, teaching them to win is a whole other ball game Charlie. Its put up or shut up time.
Posted Friday May 09, 2008, About: Yankees regret A-Rod call
Yanks better beware and do something to protect Joba, Hughes, and Kennedy. Girardi ruined the young arms the Marlins had the year he was there. Josh Johnson still isn't right from his one year in charge. Willis hasn't been the same since then, and most of the other young arms the Marlins had when he was in charge just don't seem as promising as they did before he got there.
Posted Friday May 09, 2008, About: Randy Couture talks 'banned brand,' more
Randy can say he wouldn't fight for UFC anymore, but lets be real if they signed Fedor he would be right back in the fold with them. On that note though UFC needs to come off of their high horse and sign Fedor to a contract that doesn't restrict him from fighting elseware if he so chooses. Put some kind of stipulation in his contract that says his trunks or gloves or something has to have the UFC logo on them if he isn't fighting for UFC that way they are still getting their publicity no matter where he fights its simple.
