Bettmans genre is "negotiations by lockout". Totally absurd for the continuity of the NHL. When I found out the owners were trying to not honor existing contracts I immediately withdrew support. Now I hear rumblings of a "alternate" league to the NHL. Absolutely the owners and players should lose sponsorship during the lockout! Then maybe the owners and players would listen. And if the season is lost then I'm going elswhere.

Bryzgalov is way overated and simply does not rate the mega contract the Flyers gave him. If the NHL had non-guaranteed contracts like the NFL teams could simply jettison contracts like this. But, alas, the Flyers will have Bryzgalov's less than stellar play and his huge contract hanging around there neck for years to come. Start Bobrovsky in the Winter Classic. He's the future for the Flyers in goal and is a better goalie than Bryzgalov.

I got to watching Holos play in the Olympics and saw a handfull of BU games the last couple of seasons. IMHO, Holos is way more NHL ready than Shattenkirk or Cohen. But you never who will show up with there A game at camp!
