Glenman - I'm certain you are right. We were beat the heck up after the UM win. In fact, the losses we posted last year were due to players out with injuries (from Michigan). LSU is bigger and faster. App's strength is that our guys don't know they can't do it. The LSU game will be (to App) as big as the UM game. In many ways, this is our season. We have time to recover before we get into the meat of 1-AA action. A tight game does a lot to validate our program. A win would be as wild as last year. We'll wear those paw prints with pride :-).

LSUDYNASTY - It's killing me, but I'm not going to be able to make the game (wife will be 9 months prego). We (App) are honestly just thankful to be given the opportunity to play. No one (reasonable) in the App camp has a big head since the UM upset. I expect the fans to be cordial, relatively speaking of course. With your o-line, we aren't going to be able to get to your QB and with the fastest receiver in the game, I'm not certain we're going to be able to cover deep. I'm hoping for a good game though. We have some talent that could be playing in the SEC.

Shame on the media for keeping this guy in the headlines. Nothing against Jacksonville St, I like small schools. But, no one would be reading a blog about Jax St Gamecocks if it weren't for Perriloux. Let him fade away until Oakland or Dallas draft him in a year or two.

I'm not sure anything useful will come out of asking App how to beat UM. I can only assume the teams want to know the best way to defend the Rodriguez spread since App runs a slight variation of it. Asking about how to beat last year's UM would be ridiculous.

Hopefully, the App coaches are in contact with Arkansas and Kentucky's coaches to determine the best way to beat LSU.
