You have to keep in mind that most of these young African American athletes don't have Fathers in their households to ward off the vultures that come around these young men. Therefore, it is very easy for them to receive all types of information from people who have their own personal agendas. There is so much money involved in professional sports these days and these young athletes don't have any money management skills and experience, because their families haven't had any money to manage. Often times we, as fans, get caught up in the image of the athletes that the media has drawn and painted, and forget that these are very young men that are thrust into these positions because of their athletic prowess and they are totally unprepared for what comes with these positions. Let's stop blaming the athletes, especially if you don't know their backgrounds and you don't care to know.

I've seen J'Mison Morgan play the past season. He needs a lot of work. He's very Bill 'Cartwrightish' awkward. If he puts the time in he can be decent.
