Being the Vegas favorites and actually coming through is a longshot. Wonder why Vegas sportsbooks make money? The Jays have a phenomenal team on paper. As a Jays fan, I want to see it come to fruition, of course. Truth of the matter, win or lose, the fans that go to Rogers Centre this year will get more than their money's worth. Thank you Rogers & AA for putting together this group of young and old talent that can finally, again, take the AL East pennant.

DId the media think that the players were going to badmouth him for holding out for a deal when they could do the exact same thing at certain points of their career? Other side: Did the media think they were going to have a celebration in the locker room hearing he was signed? This isn;t an article, write-up, comment that means anything. I will simply assume SI has an apprentice writing some of these blog points.

Expand? Please!!!!! As a fan of watching hockey, the key to success is contract right now. Parts of the USA just do no thave the love for the game that the minority has. Keep the NHL strong by keeping them in strong markets. If that means less teams, then so be it. NHLPA would never be OK with that as it means less players making a large six figure salary. As much as I hate Bettman for his expansion.....maybe he is just a puppet.
