I feel for Sykora. He was a vital member of the Penguins surge over the past 2 years, and he is not getting the respect he deserves.

I think that being in the playoffs for the last 2 years and being described as a veteran is hurting him. His grey beard in the playoffs may have tainted his image in a lot of peoples minds in terms of age. He looks like he is almost 40 years old, but everyone must remember, he is only 33 yrs old!! Give this guy a chance - he is and will continue to be a top 6 forward (when he isn't nursing a shoulder injury, that is)

Classy? Please - he blatantly took a run at Fleury 2 weeks ago and didn't get suspended/fined, now throws a shoulder to Booth's face and won't get suspended/fined.

Classy is not the correct term. Smart, on the other hand, may be a better term, as he is smart enough to know that Colin Campbell will not suspend him so he can do whatever he wants. Compelte BS.

i am so sick of this titter-tatter "let's see the guy's last name before thinking about suspensions" **** that the NHL is doing. They are favoring well known and popular players. If they don't suspend the likes of Ovechkin and Richards for slew-foot and dirty hits, then what does that tell all the other superstars in the NHL? OPEN RANGE!! FREE HITS AVAILABLE ANYWHERE!! KILL "EM!!!!!!

This bias towards the stars of today's game has got to stop. It will oneday, when a player leaves the ice permanently paralyzed after a blatant dirty hit from Mike Green tarzaan-ing from a rope in the rafters to maek the hit.

Ovechkin last week, Richards this week, who's next to get the preferred treatment of the NHL's Officiating Body? Can't wait to find out!
