WHOA! Everyone here seems to have forgotten about the QB thats shown the largest promise all season and has some of the best physical talent in the NFL: Jay Cutler. His tools and offense far surpass that of Trent Edwards. He's an excellent game-manager and has the accuracy and arm strength the thread the ball through an coverage.

Pau Gasol is by far the most overrated player in the NBA, he doesnt play all out every play, he flops round like a wacky arm-flailing inflatable tube man, he can't rebound at all or doesn't want to, he complains whe things don't go his way and is not a team player, and he can't help the Lakers win a championship because he can't play with Tim Duncan or Stoudamire.

I think the red sox and yankees may become players in this. I'm a Red Sox fan and I hope the Red Sox may offer deal around Lester (i hope to god not Jacoby), I like Lester he's a good pitcher, but Bedard well he's in a different category. Also the yankes may offer Melky or maybe, maybe Hughes if they're desperate.

the red sox will not give lester, buchholz, or ellsbury for burhele its not worth it. they will most likely give up a mid level pitching prospect and to OF (willy mo pena?) and schilling may have said hes coming back next year but i dont think he will even if he does with his sudden injuries the red sox will need an insurance policy and buchholz or ellsbury will be available with burheles placement in the roation. and wakefield wont be coming back because of his inconsistancy and variteks refusal to catch for him.

lester, bucholtz, and ellsbury are not leaving. burhele would be a great addition to a rotaion which has to 40+ pitchers. i agree with tj_sox_fan that the red sox will give up Wily Mo Pena and another OF and decent pitching porspect for him. the rotation as of next year will be determined with whether schilling retires or not. i say he most likeily will because of minor injuries that have risen up and wakefield has been to inconsistent to be able to stay in the rotation.
