Kimo is a beast but let's face it, at this point it is a non-factor. Even if he plays the best game of his life he can't be out there with Malkin and Crosby at the same time unless he puts up like 45 minutes a game for the rest of the series. Philadelphia... the young Cinderella story... is finished. At least I hope for their sake. Detroit would whoop that @** in the finals anyway.

MHwings hit that one on the head. Even if "the great one" himself tried to coach that team into being a formidable opponent it would be a bust (oh wait, Phoenix IS a bust). Either way though McLellan is not Babcock. And let's pretend just for a second that he is as good as Babcock, what does he have to work with? Hopes and dreams do not win championships. And as far as a distraction goes, be realistic. Nicky Lids would smash that comment mid sentence in the locker room followed by the look of death from old man Chelli to whom ever said it.
