actually if you watched every yankee game like myself you would know that torre was a HORRIBLE manager - great managing people and personalities - but horrible when it came to in-game decisions.... i don't have enough room to list his mistakes but he was gift wrapped 4 rings and gets all the credit and zero blame for 2001-2007

just keep this in mind, before he was handed a championship team with the yankees his record was 894-1003.....
