That's what I did with mine but it took 9 hours to put back in. After that it came out 7 or 8 times before the surgery (i put it back in myself after the first hospital visit). That's the only reason why I'm asking if their is a difference between the two. I don't understand the difference when they say separated or dislocated. I know what I felt and it was not nice.

I've had a dislocated shoulder. After surgery, it was a year before I regained full rotation. What's the difference with a separation? Obviously not as bad but, I don't really know the difference.

I am not saying that he has not tried to save certain teams (Edmonton et al) but its the simple fact that he won't admit when his efforts are not working (Yotes, Preds, Thrashers). When will this guy admit that HE f'ed up? It ain't working down there and never will. Edmonton, Ottawa & Buffalo had a fighting chance but they just needed a little boost. What do these other teams have as a possible chance? They need more than a boost, they need the boot!

The Leafs are incredibly bad, no doubt. But NOBODY thought they would be THIS bad. Because they are, everybody wants to shoot Burke or Wilson or both.
I think that they may as well ride this season out while continuing to re-build. I don't like Burke's idea of just getting big and tough as I think speed and skill wins more games but who am I to judge?

Argos, you have really touched a nerve here with me. I am continuing to be in a nasty court battle with my ex. 4 years running. I represent myself (and have become quite well educated on the subject of family law) but am disgusted by the opposing lawyers actions towards me and even some Judges. I was very close 2 years ago with having her lawyer put in prison for her actions towards me. It was not until the last minute that I revealed that I am an Engineer (aka: as swift as any lawyer on the planet) and can represent myself with the utmost professionalism. The attitude in the entire courtroom changed as they were now dealing with a fellow professional. It was actually disgusting to see.
This ties into your Mario situation. Certain people think that they are soooooo much better than others (that really burns me). I never personally consider myself 'better' than anybody. Maybe on certain a subject that I am well versed in but NEVER do I consider myself to be a better person.
Sorry for ranting their Argos but things like this really bother me. I hate people who put themselves on such a high pedestal.

Not what you said but what Mario did (if true). I never would have expected that from Mario.
I guess too many of these 'professionals' put themselves on such a high pedestal that no mere mortal should approach them.
They forgot their roots is my guess. (to put it nicely).

Wow Hank, you're old! Just kidding about that. I was born in 71' and am being told that I am old. LOL
Your story about your sister brought back a memory. My parents best friends (at the time) were very good friends with Darrel Sittler. They got Poloroids of him in their living room (as he was a regular visitor) and had him sign them for my brother and I. Even back then I was a Leaf fan. It is quite 'washed out" now but, I still have it. It was taken back in his hey days with the leafs. Mid 70's is my guess as I have no date on it. His attire is pure 70's though. Truly something special.
My oldest son (now 14) has an autograph from Bobby Hull taken 3 years ago. Matthew doesn't know much about him but, as I told him how great a player he was, Matthew now cherishes this book with the autograph. It won't ever appear on ebay.

As a Leaf fan, I have to comment. A lot of players surely do want to play here just because its the Leafs. Other players don't for the same reason. Some players simply cannot handle the intense pressure of playing here. That pressure from media and fans alike is second to nowhere else in the league. Make no mistake about it, the pressure on these players is incredible. The players here get raked over the coals on a daily basis.
I was at a playoff game once at the ACC watching it on the jumbo tron. They were playing the Devils. All the money went to charity and tickets were $5.00 I brought (at the time) my two kids. The building was basically sold out. Where else can this possibly happen in the league to watch a televised game? Fans here are INTENSE.

Totally disgusting behavior no doubt. But alas, it happens in the other sports too. Look at how many fights start over a baseball.

excellent point Hank made. Kids can be so cruel. That's exactly what the majority of the NHL players are, are kids. Not far removed from high school.
Anyway, I am proud of Theo. He has really shown that he is a REAL man through all this. Yes he made mistakes but, he is also showing his willingness to battle back.
