Didn't this happen around 2 weeks ago? Why are we hearing about him surviving a scare now? Did he just realize Camby had been traded?

I don't think it was a fluke really, but they had the one team in the NFL that could beat the Patriots. They had a great pass rush to beat Brady, with coverage good enough to make him hold on just a second longer to get the sack. They had a beast of a RB to take advantage of the Pats' aging LB core, a big physical WR to take advantage of little Ellis Hobbs. You could tell by watching both of their games during the season (last game of regular season and SB) that it would be close. The Giants had the team best fit to pull off the upset and they did. I think they do deserve more credit than they deserve. No team has done what they did.

Meh. I wouldn't start him at the beginning of the season, but by November, he'd definitely be starting, unless John Beck or Josh McCown have a Derek Anderson-esque great year (no one knows who they are, then BAM, great season).

Can anyone blame him for wanting to play for a team that is always in the mix for the Super Bowl? Maybe this sounds sorta bad, but if I were a free agent, I'd be going for teams like the Colts and Pats over just about any team in the league.

This guy's right. Michael Vick was nearly everyone's favorite player in Atlanta. No matter how he was playing, his jerseys were being sold out alot. I go every summer and the amount of Vick jerseys versus all the other jerseys was astounding. You can't really replace the marketing presence he had.

I don't think it'd happen, and I'm not sure I'd want it to happen, but they could trade him to Atlanta for one or two of their second round draft picks. They've got about three of them.
