Here are two quotes from the blurb above- the media is really shameless those days-
first the title- "Lake house swings TE to Auburn"
then the quote from the player himself "The main reason I liked Clemson was because of the lake. We've got a lake house up there. When I kind of factored everything in that was the only reason. The coaches and everything were nice, the facilities were nice, but the main factor was the lake."
How does an innocuous statement which was basically "I really liked Clemson because of a lake house but I decided to not go" turn into an somewhat sensational dirty media tricky "Lake house swings TE to Auburn."
The first thing I thought was- they bought him a lake house. then I read the article and realized that the people who work at sports illustrated are idiots like the rest of us. totally made my day.
