Posted Tuesday November 24, 2009, About: Mangini suggests Lions faked injuries
If the shoe was on the other foot, would Mangini tell his players to "fake injuries?"
Or would he tell them to lay on the ball carrier until time expires?
I'm pretty sure he would call for one or the other. If not, he's no viable NFL coach.

But if that weapon can't hit what it's aiming at?
May as well throw that weapon on the ground. Get rid of it and get one that can hit the target. Maybe one that has already been sighted in - I see J.P. Losman is tearing up the UFL. (on a 1 yr. contract) Big-Al could do worse. Losman is better than Russell by a loooong shot. - IMO

GREAT job of investigative journalism. Bet the writer had to dig all of about 3 minutes to hammer this non-story out before the Tribune deadline passed.

Posted Wednesday November 18, 2009, About: Drivers targeting Keselowksi?
Hamlin and Montoya are both full of Bullsht. They're just trying to "BULLY" Keslowski and he's not having any of it.
If someone were actually planning to intentionally run another driver into the wall, do you really think he's going to be stupid enough to announce it to the whole world? Would'nt it be more to his advantage to keep his mouth shut and just "Do-It?" - Because by announcing he is going to intentionally use his race car to put another racer out, he's risking his entire season. If not, his entire career. Not the smartest of moves. But then, we have to consider the source when speaking of "smart-moves" here don't we.
Posted Wednesday November 18, 2009, About: Why Dolphins benched Porter
If I were his employer and he bagged out of practice that day because he was not feeling well, then I saw him out running the streets later that evening, I would put him on the TLTP list - "To Lazy To Perform" list and he would be Trade-Bait from then on. Not to mention, running out on the team and bagging out of practice cuz you would rather play around at the mall or go to the bar, must deeply 'endear' him to his teammates too.
Posted Wednesday November 18, 2009, About: Did ex-Patriots rough up high school kids?
The fact that the "students signed up thinking they would be playing with the officers, but no officers showed up," - tells me the cops were not bullshting around. They were strategizing to maximize their starting lineup via the "Bait-&-Switch" - they must have figured the kids needed a lesson and who better to teach them

Posted Tuesday November 17, 2009, About: Cable: Al Davis won't pick quarterback
My thoughts too. Charlie Frye has'nt thrown a regular season pass in over 2 years. He's been a 3rd string QB since he was drafted. He would definately not be an upgrade from Mr. Bling. He's a Professional Bench-Rider.

Posted Friday November 13, 2009, About: M's deny Wetteland mental health reports
He's a great guy and a hell of a coach. Best thing the M's did, was fire Charlton and hire Wetland. He turned their bp around 180 deg. into a very respectable one. Considering all the young guys he had to work with, I was amazed.
Posted Thursday November 12, 2009, About: Who's on Phillies' wish list?
As an M's fan, I watched Beltre all summer. You have it backwards.
Beltre is a top notch defender. He made plays at 3rd base I was in awe of. He has a cannon of an arm, so he can fire it to 1st, quite accurately I might add, without any problems. M's fans love the guy. He works his tail off. But "Bill Bavasi" signed him from the Dodgers after he had a career high 48 HRs. Hoping he would be the power hitter they wanted. He never hit more than 25HRs with the M's and he's been hurt a lot lately. He would make a defensive upgrade to any team. But he's a mediocre hitter. Nothing to write home about.

Posted Tuesday November 10, 2009, About: France wants less TV criticism
One instance of the censorship of France - Speed Channel has already cancled one show that was constantly critical of NASCAR brain trusts decision making. They cancled "Pit Bull." Not an overly popular program, but it had success in the ratings. Apparently France didn't like the shows criticism of their "detrimental to NASCAR" rule. Plus their obsevation of the creation of rules on the fly as they see fit.

Is he easily agitated? - Yes
Is he delusional? - Yes
Is he paranoid? - Yes
Does he exhibit high anxiety? - Yep
Does he suffer from bouts of depression? - Yes
Is he an emotional cripple? - You Bet Cha! The guy's a major head-case.
I think the Cubs need to atone giving him a 3 year/$30 mil contract just cuz he had "ONE" monster year with the Rangers. I believe THEY should finish paying off their bad decision to give him so much freakin money right off the bat. Owners like the Ricketts, are turning out big contracts to so-so players cuz they have one good year. No wonder there's so many mediocre players with monster contracts in the game today. If I remember right, the Rangers were not sad to get rid of him by years end. After that deal with him trying to get at that TV reporter. They were already growing suspicious of his demeanor. The Rangers did'nt think enough of him to resign him when his 1 year contract was up either. They let him go, rather than pay him that big contract he was looking for. - THAT should have told the Cubs something.
Posted Tuesday November 10, 2009, About: Lions WR denies rift with Stafford
I think this is blown waaay out of proportion. I saw the game. There was nothing more than growing pangs. Every team with a rookie at QB is going to go through them. The WR goes back to the bench and whines he was "wide open" the last two plays. Only WR fails to realize how hard it is to survey the field with 4 tons of shit screaming down on you.
What they SHOULD be worried about, is they had a 17-0 lead in the 1st qtr. Their defense was like a rabid pack of dogs. Then, it was like they just "gave-up" after Seattles first score. They ended up losing the game 30-20. They need to work on that, more than their QB/WR relationships

Posted Sunday November 08, 2009, About: Newman: NASCAR needs to keep cars on ground
Keeping those cars nailed to the track is not as big of a problem as NASCAR makes it out to be. It's just not "their" idea.
To begin with, they should'nt have messed with the body styles. Cup drivers are always saying how much better the old body holds the track than the @#$%^& COT
Also, they could take a page out of the Indy/F1 style cars. The bottom of those cars are curved to maximize the air flow underneath it to suck it down to the track. The faster they go, the more down force. You rarely see an Indy car take flight like a COT
