He's a reason why rookies shouldn't get the big contracts. Coming into the league with a sense of having already made it big and then forgetting to do the work was a mistake. I'm sure he'll be better this time because he's seen both side of it. Too bad he's only got Vince Young to count on.

I hope it's been said in this forum already but the SAINTS moving would be a travesty. And it would have to done is a matter similar to the way the Colts left Baltimore. And that would be bad for New Orleans and bad for football as a whole. And as a life-long SAINTS fan it would really, really make me angry too.

I don't think the 17th hole is "gimmicky". If anything it's the signature hole of the golf course. And coming so late in the round makes it even more exciting. These guys are professionals hitting short irons. It's not rocket science. But I do believe it's fair to all participants.

I just don't see that happening. Maybe if his knee issues cause an early retirement they will have a chance against Tiger. Barring that, second place is all they have to compete for.

I think it was a good call for the SAINTS to at least make an offer for him. The Giants could get the cap savings by letting him go. They did win in the playoff without him.

Miles will find away to work this all out. He seems to have a knack for problem solving. I just don't see him able to justify keeping this kid in the lineup.

I did get part of the theme of this article. Thorpe is something of a "free spirit" on the Senior Tour. But there are no African Americans in line to make the Sr circuit in the foreseeable future. I guess he does have at least a small sense of his place in the world.

I don't know how they can call "Number 11" (lol) untested. He's been getting in games and performing well. I'd be comfortable playing him. And I can't wait to see what he does against Florida. I wish Florida was still unbeaten though. It hurts LSU's strength of schedule laterwhen the BCS rankings come out.

You guys act as if he's the first player to have a bad season during a contract year. He's been loyal and hustling player for the Braves and now he wants his money. The Braves need to stop being so damn THRIFTY. It's a shame to have to watch Glavine and Maddux playing well somewhere else. And now Jones is next. Why is it the only player they "shown the money" is Chipper. And he went below market value to stay in Atlanta. I think it's a disservice to the fans to continue this way. But it's also a tribute to Bobby Cox to keep making slim pickings and the farm system viable during his tenure.

I'm not a fan of Singh's but he did temporarily take down Tiger and he has won a lot of tourney's past age forty. He deserves to talk smack every now and again. He's put in the work to get where he is. But I don't think he wants to take the chance of angering Tiger again. You see what that got him in the last President's Cup.
