For your information. The Marlins payroll is $36,834,000 and they are in 3rd place with a 49-47 record only 6 games behind the Phillies who spent $113,004,046 and 1/2 game behind Atlanta who spent $96,726,166. I would call that pretty good fiscal responsibility.
