This coming from someone repping the Maple Leafs. One of two teams that are actually WORSE than the Wild are right now. Plus, the Maple Leafs have spent about $5 Million more on salary than the Wild and haven't made the playoffs since 2004. I would worry less about the Wild jerseys and more about the terrible state of your team.

From someone who has follow Mauer since he was in high school. What his dad notices about his swing is always dead on. His dad has been is personal hitting instructor since he was about 4 years old and still talks to him about what he sees in his swing after each game. He has natural talent that is out of this world. He only struck out ONE time in his entire high school baseball career. Probably would have been a #1 overall pick in the NFL draft out of Florida State if he wouldn't have been drafted by the Twins. He is 6'5" 225. Plus, he had a lower back/ body injury during the offseason and during spring training. I would guess that he was probably in the gym working on his upper body strength since he couldn't run or work out his lower body at all. The guy already has two batting titles and is on his way to many more. It was only a matter of time until he started hitting bombs. Quit with the steroid talk. You gotta give some of these naturally talented athletes the benefit of the doubt. Plus, his head size still looks the same to me.

I dont see GSP subbing BJ at all. If any thing it will be the other way around becuase of GSP's superior size and better takedowns I see GSP being on top and BJ working his subs while on his back. The only advantage GSP had in the first fight was his reach and his takedowns. The reach is negated because BJ is a better striker. I just hope BJ has worked on his takedown defense. This is still a tough one to call but, I still say BJ by tko in 2. If Serra can drop GSP so can BJ.

I expect the Vikes to make a push for some big free agents, but we also need to resign guys like Birk, Kleinsasser, and Sharper who are key parts to our team. How about we get a right tackle while we're at it. A QB fixes most of our problems, but not Favre. Go get Cassel, Hasslebeck is to injury prone, but is good when healthy.

He will be pretty much the only Twins Free agent in 2010. Even the Twins will throw the money at him. I wouldnt be surprised at all if the Twins don't let him reach free agency by giving him an extension during the season.

If this is supposed to be an insult to Minnesota or Atlanta you should be looking at your own team there in MO. The Wild have been easily better than St. Louis since they were created so I wouldnt be talking smack about either of these teams if I were you.

Not to get off topic but honestly, I would much rather watch a Gophers men's hockey game than the Wild. Lemaire's style may not be pretty, but he wins games and he does it consitantly without his often injured star forward.

Not to knock McNabb, but the vikings need someone younger who can grow with Peterson. Matt Cassell should be the first one on their radar. He is a free agent this offseason. Forget about Anderson and Quinn. Anderson will never be the same and the Browns are not going to give up Quinn to anyone becuase he is the new face of the franchise.

The Vkings DO NOT NEED OR WANT Chad Penninton! Who comes up with these B.S. Rumors. Unless they can make a trade with the Jets for Favre the Vikes will just continue with the team they have. Gus Frerotte is our backup, John David Booty will be third string and Chrildress loves Tavaris Jackson. I am not even sure that Pennington could beat Jackson for the starting job. Tell whoever is making up these rumors to do a little research first.

He comes March Madness for the Gophers for the first time in years. Stealing him away from Kentucky (stupid to chase him out by the way) was the best thing that could have happened to Minnesota Gopher Basketball! Get all of those recruits Tubby! I hate the bubble! I am a life long Twins fan and it is the most terrible thing to go into that thing on an 80 degree Minnesota summer day. I will be so happy when the new stadium opens. I dont mind if they cancel home games for the first month, that just means more double headers in the summer time. Plus true Minnesotans would sit out in the rain and snow anyways! Go Twins!
