Its kind of funny how Arod grounds into a couple double plays and strikes out a couple times last night and gets booed relentlessly by the s-hitty Yankee fans. But wheres Jeter's boos, I mean if Im looking at the same season then Jeter has 6 more GDP than Arod does, he also has a BA .014 points lower than Arod. Arod also has 14 more runs, 5 more doubles, 20 more homeruns, 18 more RBI, 7 more steals, 1 fewer caught stealing, and Arod's OBP is .046 points higher than Jeter while Arods slugging is .181 points higher than Jeter.

By the way Jeter is the captain and is paid almost the same as Arod. So why doesnt Jeter get booed? Arod has been much more consistant over the course of the year than Jeter.

Just goes to show you that the athletes of today dont care about the game they play and use to love. Its all about the money for the NBA athletes now. Thats why we wont see any player stick around on the same team throughout his career like Jordan, Bird, Magic, The Mailman or many of the other greats.

Arod did not lose any of those series for the Yankees. To say a player who has 4 chances to swing the bat a game can lose a 5 or 7 game series is absurd. Last year where was Mr Clutch Derek Jeter? Oh thats right he was out there hitting .176. Not to mention Wang was awful last postseason so the Yankees not winnig a World Series has nothing to due with Arod its the falling apart of the rest of the team along with his struggling that loses postseason series. Oh by the way the Yankees wouldnt have even been in the post season if not for Arod carrying the team on his back through April.

Hes getting hitting advice from the all time leader in hits? Wow that has to be the dumbest thing a baseball player could ever do. Are you guys kidding me with this thread of bs. Reyes got basestealing advice from Rickey Henderson, Arod is getting hitting advice from Pete Rose, its the same situation.

For Jeters Gold Gloves, has anybody noticed that he never won a Gold Glove until A-rod left shortstop to play 3rd base. Which shows that not only is Arod an amazing hitter but he was a good defensive shortstop as well. I understand that many people see Arod's salary and automatically call to say he is over rated. Arod is NOT over rated, he is overpaid but to say the best all around player in the MLB is over rated is ridiculous. He is the best player and I challenge anybody to show me somebody who is a better all around player than Arod is. Meaning somebody who is better in hitting, fielding and baserunning as a whole.
