Barklry is 100% right. Since the talk in the NBA is about 2010 why not forget the next 2 years and fast forward it to 2010. Then when the Knicks don't have enough support for a player who's name can't be mentioned we can laugh.

Williams an Irvin type receiver? Are you nuts!! Williams is good, very good but not that quality. He drops a lot of passes, and makes poor decisions on routes. After one Lion's loss he said something along the lines of who easily they should have scored 40 points. He's also a whiner for the ball.

It will only be a good move for the Lions if they actually use the picks properly. Their history is poor in that regard with Millen but Millen is not there now.

Notre Dame is NOT relevant any more. They are still living off of Holtz and the only time I've watched them is when they play MI.

Weiss stated previously that joining a conference turns you into a regional recruiter. (Guess that was a clue to how much he knew about college ball)

If they joined and were accepted they might split the conference. (That would be interesting in how they would do that) They do NOT have to split it though and they do not need to add a Championship game. If they needed such a game there are plenty of dome stadiums to play the game in and the NFL plays in worse weather deeper into the season.

So what did the Boys offer? Just because the Lions suck and Millen has not performed doesn't mean they offred him a deal. If it was JUST a 1st rnd then I would say it was not a deal. Roy is proven a 1st rounder NEVER is.

Wear a throat guard? Hell some still don't want to wear a helmet, let alone a face guard or a full face guard. Many more eye injuries then cuts like that.

As far as polymer blades not sure you can get the edge you need to stay to make the cuts you need, nor get the thermo reaction as well.

Scapegoat? First the buck stops with Carr regardless. Next DAMN right English blew it. Last 3 teams run the spread formation and you still can't get it done?? Finally neither of those guys were on the field. players make plays they didn't. They didn't expect to get smacked back when they started to play and it took to long for them to realize they were in a game. Kudos to the Mountaineers they earned it.

The trade does work out based on cash. Check out the ESPN trade machine. I would think Sheed, Naz and a draft choice would do it for KG.
