Posted Thursday April 03, 2014, About: Pens D-man decries unacceptable effort
Crosby may be the most talented guy in the league, but we all know that those guys are not always great leaders. Team has as much talent as pretty much any other team out there, but that 4-0 series with Boston last year was a clear signal that something significant was missing. They ignored it, believing that talent will overcome. Paying for it now. No team fears playing the Pens. Outside of Orpik, who is there to really watch out for on the ice?
Posted Tuesday March 11, 2014, About: Peverley asked to return after collapsing
Imagine a baseball or basketball player doing that? No way in hell.
Posted Friday March 07, 2014, About: Caps 'running out of time'
That performance by the Bruins last night was their most complete, dominant game of the year. Caps are helpless if not on the power play.
Posted Tuesday February 11, 2014, About: Ovi values gold at $50 billion
As long as Canada doesn't win gold.
Posted Wednesday January 22, 2014, About: Patriots have become the '90s Braves
Since Gods Gift to Quarterbacks has been operating on an elite level, Pats have zero championships. Those 3 SB's 9+ years back were mostly due to guys like McGinest, Vrabel, Harrison, Bruschi, Law... But I'll give Belichick his due - Pats have been the best team to not win it all over a nine year period in NFL history, if that makes Pats sycophants feel better.
Posted Monday January 20, 2014, About: Welker feels bad for the Pats
Smartest thing I've read here in years.
Posted Friday January 10, 2014, About: LeBron was texting Manziel weekly
Lebron is giving him advice? On what - how to be the best player in your league and still be disliked by 80% of the people out there?
Posted Monday December 30, 2013, About: Dennis Seidenberg loss big void for Bruins
Jesus - get over it. That 4-0 whipping last year really did a number on you.
Posted Friday December 20, 2013, About: Gruden back to the Raiders?
Giants. If any team could use fresh offensive approach, and a guy that has a shot at turning a QB around, it's the Giants.
Posted Monday December 09, 2013, About: James Neal is a liar
Christ - was only a wise crack. You need to relax...
Posted Monday December 09, 2013, About: James Neal is a liar
Good one. And while we're at it, Shanahan should talk with Dupuis about the two-hander that broke a bone in Kelly's leg the other night.
Posted Monday December 09, 2013, About: James Neal is a liar
It did - thanks. And Neal sold that in a major way. Notice no one on the Pens stood up for their teammate?
Posted Monday December 09, 2013, About: James Neal is a liar
One heck of a first post, there, Alaska. Love the shots at Boston fans - though I am one. Still - the guy targeted a defenseless player's head. Not good, regardless of the idiotic move by Thornton.
Posted Monday December 09, 2013, About: James Neal is a liar
Are you serious? Outside of the 4-0 shellacking last year and the few games this year, have you even watched a Bruins game?
Posted Thursday October 24, 2013, About: Nicks lands in a Big Blue doghouse
People give up so quickly on these guys. Bottom line - yes, Nicks is not having a good year. But this disaster of a season is square on Manning as he looks more confused than ever. Their offense may be predictable but 15 INT's?
Posted Monday September 09, 2013, About: Humbled Seguin's primary goal
Million dollar talent with a two cent cement head
Posted Friday June 21, 2013, About: Toews: We can out-work Chara
Late on this but if it matters - and it likely doesn't - I agree. For a PK fan you really do have a clue!
Posted Friday June 21, 2013, About: Toews: We can out-work Chara
Love his talent - can't stand the way he does it
Posted Friday June 21, 2013, About: Toews: We can out-work Chara
Makes sense. And I admit, maybe it's the pic you use that made me call your comment "clueless." That kid has all the talent in the world - why he acts the way he does on the ice is beyond me.
Posted Friday June 21, 2013, About: Toews: We can out-work Chara
Maybe something like "Bergeron isn't half as good as people think he is?"
Posted Friday June 21, 2013, About: Toews: We can out-work Chara
One game they had offensive success. While they could do it again, defense - and not just the back two but the whole scheme - usually wins out. Toews is feeling good after Wed - he should. But odds are the Bruins will not be as lax tomorrow.
