Posted Thursday December 11, 2008, About: Why Pistons really traded for Iverson
If the Pistons made AI the sixth man, I believe they would play better. AI's arrival has taken a hit on Rip's game. AI is not a set up man, Stuckey is so start Stuckey and bring Iverson off the bench. The Pistons would win more games then.
Posted Thursday December 11, 2008, About: Wizards-Bulls trade fell through
Larrry Hughes is a system player. In the right system, he can be effective. He needs to be next to a point guard who can shoot. The couple of good years that he had, he played next to great shooter that spread the floor for him. In Golden State, he played with Arenas, Jamison, and Jason Richardson, in Washington he played with Arenas, Jamison. Do you see the pattern that is going on. An Arenas, Hughes, Richardson, and Jamison sounds a lot like Arenas, Hughes, Butler, Jamison. I don't know, it could have went either way, good or bad. The first time they were together it went bad, the second time they were together they made it to the second round. I can't call it but since it won't happen then oh well
Posted Tuesday November 18, 2008, About: Will Cavs make run at Vince Carter?
I think it depends on who you give up for him. Wallace and Wally for Vince and one of their 7 power forwards Sean Williams would be a nice trade. Cleveland would have three legit playmakers, still have bigs to controll the paint, and Lebron will see less to no double teams, if I am Cleveland, make the trade. The worst that can happen is they lose in the Conference finals because with the team the have now they r better than every one else in the East outside from Boston. Vince, Mo, LBJ, Big Z, Varejeo, with DGib, West, Sean Williams, Sasha, Wright, and Hickson. This is a team that can really rest James and still be effective.
Posted Saturday November 08, 2008, About: Magic interested in McDyess?
I think that he would be a perfect fit in Orlando. Someone who can come off the bench and play along side Howard. That is why the Pistons were able to beat them 4-2 because outside Howard, they were paper thin.

Posted Wednesday October 29, 2008, About: Sources: Harrington wants out of Golden State
Give Al some slack. His first two seasons in the league he did not really get any playing time. but after that he's been a 16ppg scorer until he got to Golden State. He is a legit second option to have on a team. He can score in the paint hit the long ball and can play multiple positions. The Bobcats should invest in a player like him,
Posted Friday September 12, 2008, About: Will Carter demand Nets trade?
I said it once before, even though he doesn't do a whole lot of things great, he is good in almost everything else that pertains to basketball except defend. With that said, NJ is trying to clear up cap room, and Cleveland is in a win now situation, and Wallace, Snow, #1, for Carter,Swift is not out of the question. I know the Cavs got Mo WIlliams because he scored with the Bucks, but when the got Hughes he was fresh off a season when he averaged 22ppg. Carter is a legit scorer and that is what Lebron needs, another legit scorer.
Posted Friday September 12, 2008, About: Last chance for Magloire?
This is the perfect opportunity for him to get it right. He has no one looking over his shoulder until Jan. when Mourning returns. If he can give the Heats 8ppg and 8rpg, this will be a win situation for Miami.
Posted Saturday August 30, 2008, About: Blazers: Fernandez will play a lot
No takers for Houston? I am surprised. They are a team to watch as well when fully healthy. Shane Battier, Ron Artest, McGrady, Yao, Scola, Landry, Alston (latter part of last season), Head. Doesn't look that bad at all. Better and deeper than GS minus Ellis, LAC, Denver, for sure. I know most people will say to watch out for trouble maker, old Ron.

People better watch out for my ROCKETS. When they wasn't healthy they won 22 games in a row. You add Ron Ron and hopefully a healthy Yao, with Battier going to the bench. They was one game away from being the number one team in the west while injured. If healthy, the ROCKETS makes a run at the NBA Championship.
Posted Monday August 25, 2008, About: Miami heating up for Boozer?
The Heat does not need Boozer. He is a good player, but he is not a need. Haslem and Beasley will be a good tag team force at the 4 spot. Sign Magloire for the 1 mil. min. and let him back up Mourning. Their bench is decent. Cook, Quinn, Blount, Banks or Charlmers, Haslem, Magloire. Behind starters CHalmers, Wade, Marion, Beasley, Mourning.

Sorry, Mason is going to OKC
Posted Sunday August 17, 2008, About: LeBron 'happy' with Williams trade
Let's state the facts. Lebron took a team to the Finals 2 years ago with no one other than him averaging 12ppg but him. Took Boston to seven games in a series that they almost won. You add a player in Mo Williams who can score the ball 17ppg the last two seasons, and is a decent assist man 6.5apg.
I think that he is part of what he needs. Mo will allow James to rest a little bit, Desmond Mason give you an athletic wing man who can guard the other teams best wing player to keep James fresher as well. Make the trade, sign West, and use some of your dead weight as trade bait.,
Posted Thursday August 14, 2008, About: Did 76ers overpay for Iguodala?
Picking the top five in the East is harder than most people think. Alot of teams in the East has made good moves. This is my top 8 and the reason for my picks.
1. Boston- the champs, enough said
2. Detriot- even though they lost in the conference finals again, they have a
mix of veterans and young talent to keep this spot for one more year
The next four is the hardest but here goes.
3. Toronto-people are underestimating the trade for O'neal. In the playoffs,
the Raptors played Bosh on Howard and playeed a close series. If O'neal
is healthy enough then Toronto has a defensive center to play against
Howard and O'neal is no longer a number 1 option, but a great #2. But
this ranking is if O'neal is HEALTHY
4. Orlando-Pietrus and Battie (if healthy) will add value to this team. My only
concern is that Orlando lost both of their backup point guards and Mo
Evans which will hurt them alot
5. Cleveland-This position is only because it will be an ajustment period for
Mo and Big Z and Big Ben are older. Cleveland still needs a legit point.
Mo, Gibson andWest are not natural point men.
6. Philly- Even though they signed Brand, they did not address an issue that
had plagued them all season long. They need a shooter. Rush might be
that guy, but are they going to play him ahead of Willie Green, who plays
behind Iggy. YOung will be the starting small forward. Smith injury will
hurt them as well.
7. Wizards- This is only because of uncertainties. Will Aerenas be 100%, will
Etan Thomas be 100%, who will replace Roger Mason off the bench, will
Blatche, MCguire and Young live up to expectations. Just too many ifs
8.Bucks.-the move for Jefferson and Ridnour convinced me that they are
trying to win now. Two legit scorer who compliment each other well
a pass first point, an improving center, and youth gives them the nod over
the Pacers and Hawks.

Tell me what do yall think.

Posted Thursday August 07, 2008, About: Carter OK with Nets' offseason moves
Well, he'll finally lead the league in scoring and his TEAM finish near the bottom of the east, or he would be traded to Cleveland because the one thing that he does well is what the Cavs need, a scorer.
Posted Wednesday August 06, 2008, About: Pacers trying to move Tinsley
For someone who did not graduate from high school, Tinsley is a success story. He had dropped out of school and a recruiter saw him playing in a pick up game and told him if he got his GED then he would be able to play for Iowa State. so he is a success story.
But back to the issue of Tinsley, if he can stay healthy, he'll be alright.
Posted Wednesday August 06, 2008, About: Heat interested in Marbury
For the league minimum, I don't see why they should not sign him. Play Marbury as a 6th man behind DWade because Miami needs scoring on that team. Did he really hog the ball or ws it his attitude that got him his bad reputation. This guy has averaged 8apg so you can't say he doesn't pass the ball. His career assist averages is better that Iverson, BDavis, Areanas, JWIll, and over 75% of the starting PGs in the league. With that said, if his attitude changes, he could be a good pick up for the min. if he dont pan out, let him go to Europe.
Posted Monday August 04, 2008, About: Yao feeling Olympic pressure
The Rockets has made one of the BEST moves that I can remember about in a long time. So Yao needs to come back healthy. WIth that said, you also want him back in game form when he comes back. You can look at this two ways. As a negative or as a positive. As a negative, he gets hurt again and miss significant time, or as a positive, look at this as extensive rehab because if he doesn't get hurt, then you don't have to worry about getting him into shape during training camp because he has trained for the summer.

The Rockets need to sign Carl Landry because this guy is a stud in the making. He won the Rockets games becuase of what he is able to do. He is an athletic power forward who can go out and get it done for the Rockets. With Landry, Scola, Yao, the Rockets are set to challenge for a CHAMPIONSHIP

GO ROCKETS
Posted Monday August 04, 2008, About: Possible Cavs-Nuggets deal
Cleveland needs to get this done. People forgot that before the Iverson trade, JR was having his best season at 16 to 18ppg. He is a flat out score something that the CAVS need. HE can shoot, drive, and is just 22 years old.
Posted Thursday July 31, 2008, About: Kobe understands Carmelo's pain
If I am not mistaking, Kobe said that he wouldn't mind having Melo as a teammate in LA. Now let's talk about that. Denver will not win with Melo and AI and no Camby, someone has to go. The Lakers should package a deal that would obtain Melo. Lamar and two future first rounds and Karl's son would make that trade a good one for both sides.
Please be honest in your remarks
Posted Thursday July 31, 2008, About: Yao's concerns about Artest
insidehoops.com reported that the comment by Yao was a joking comment. He and Ron had straighten that issue out and ROn is going to China to Support Yao. People can take a comment and make what they want out of it. Since Yao and ROn got it straight let's move on and talk about the Rockets as true contenders or not.
