We had a family friend who was in her pick up truck when she was lifted up about 10 feet, spun around and then gently put back on the ground about 30 feet away. There house was fine, but their neighbors house was gone. Crazy.

Not sure if it was the same where you were, but every time they went off it was an instant social event...everyone ran outside and eventually started talking...not really taking them too seriously.
