I don't want to change the subject so I'll be brief about this. I see it all too often and it's just one of those things that gets under my skin; people typing "could of" when they should be typing "could've". It's a contraction people, it's short for "could have". I don't mean to be insulting or anything like that, but it's something I had to say.

Anyway, LT's personal life certainly was not an example, or role-model for anyone to try to emulate. But I completely disagree with a lot of people on here that say he shouldn't be giving anyone advice.

I think he's the PERFECT person to give Plaxico advice. Even better then LT: Darryl Strawberry or Doc Gooden.

what i dont understand is: why is the MLBPA even concidering helping Barry Bonds who isn't even a member of the MLBPA??

where in the world are you getting your information from??? Moose has already said that IF he comes back it would only be with the Yankees.

He's also said that IF he comes back "If I'm in for 1, I'm in for 3" indicating that 300 would be the goal along with the goal of every MLB player: winning the world series.
Posted Tuesday September 09, 2008, About: Strahan: Cowboys look Super
i didn't read all 9 pages of comments, so if i'm repeating what someone already said, then deal with it and move on. do i agree with strahan? no. do i think anyone can make a valid prediction for sb champ at this point of the season? not a chance. lets wait until at least week 4, but i dont think you can make anywhere near an accurate pick until after week 8 or 10. so none of this matters, the only thing worth talking about after week 1 is who got injured and how long it'll be until they come back. the problem is that there's a ridiculous amount of airtime for pregame/postgame/hype etc. etc....... do we really need to have all of the same info repeated to us every single day in between weeks?? no. the point is: strahan is a tv guy now and has to say something. if he wants to predict the cowboys, that's fine. i'm a life long giants fan and i dont care who he pics. he's always done right by the giants, stuck it out through the bad years and never signed with another team or asked for a trade. at least he didn't go bashing the team and it's individuals like tiki did last year. by the way, i threw my tiki jersey into a fire after that... no love left. GO GIANTS!!!!
Posted Tuesday June 17, 2008, About: Can Manning steady Giants?
like him or not, he's gotten the team to the playoffs in each of his full years as a starter. it may be an ugly season at times, but the end result is all that matters, and he's already accomplished something dan marino and many other great QBs never could in their HOF carreers. strahan and probably shockey will be a huge loss for the g-men, but someone will step up and fill in very well at each position i'm sure.
Posted Tuesday June 17, 2008, About: Yankees really need Sabathia
why does everyone seem to think sabathia is some kind of savior???? except for last season, he's barely an above average pitcher. and what has he done this season so far?? yeah i'm sure someone will say "look at the run support he's getting from the indians" well maybe so, but look at the run support wang was getting early in the season when he won 8 games, the yankees offense didn't look like they could win the little league world series. cashman isn't the greatest GM ever, but i'm not ready to say he should get the axe either. and who knows, maybe hughes and kennedy were hiding their injuries all season and once they're healthy it'll be just like last year. LETS GO YANKEES!!!!
Posted Tuesday June 10, 2008, About: Yankees eye future rotation
as a yankees fan i hate to admit that i dont think they're making the playoffs this season. but is anyone going to mention, or has anyone even noticed that the mets, with johan "the savior" santana, aren't looking playoff bound either?? i agree they yanks would probably be better off with him, at least for now, but he's certainly not the beginning and end of the yankees problems this season
