After this whole saga plays out, EJ is going to be able to put together one of those "Backpacking through Europe" guides. Except, he won't actually be backpacking; he'll be rolling in style, maybe in Beasley's beemer. And he won't be going on 50 bucks-a-day.
Well. Which is it going to be? I'd respond to one, if it weren't contradicting the other.
Dude, these boards are not the provenance of you and your band of merry men/ alter egos. You and a few others do post most frequently, but you're not the only ones who do post. I actually enjoy reading posts from across the spectrum of fans and aficianados. There are some reasonable, entertaining and astute posts. Unfortunately, I don't see much of that in the posts that you and whoeverthehellyoureallyare submit. It wouldn't be a big deal if you folks didn't blather on, and on, and on.
Bottom line: this is a public forum. I'll post whenever the spirit moves me--even if that post doesn't agree with, or points out glaring inconsistencies with Oter/D/Poot.whoeverthehellyoureallyare.
What is axiomatic is that you only respond to "accusations" that you consider warranting a response. If I'm a confused/disturbed/babbling nutbag floating out some baseless conspiracy theory, then you dismiss it out of hand. Maybe you chuckle. Maybe you sigh. But you dismiss it all the same.
Afterall, what possible repercussions could there be to these "accusations"? Could they get you arrested? Could they negatively impact your credit score, or employment prospects? Perhaps they might get you drummed out of your church, or PTA, or Moose lodge? No?
Then why dignify the lunacies of somebody whom you have already thoroughly deprecated?
Don't look now, but this almost resembles a dialogue.
And on the strong possibility that you are the same sad guy posting under various accounts, you've only helped to confirm suspicions.
And look at that, we've already exchanged a single message without name-calling.
Whether you're at work, or on the beach in Cabo, if you're posting that frequently, you aren't logging much face time with people who are not video-game characters.
Dude, do yourself, and the rest of us a big favor, and get the help you so desperately need.
I still don't see any joke. But then again, my sense of humor isn't based on calling people grade-school names.
I don't doubt that you ..."call it as you see it". My point is you don't "see it" very clearly.
I never posted that "people gang up on me". I simply stated it's difficult to introduce and discuss a topic when others take a dissenting view as a personal attack. As far as you're concerned, I'll happily embrace the "odd man out" mantle. There isn't much in what I've seen in your posts that makes me want to be part of your little cyber-circle jerk.
Judging from your reaction to my posts directed at others in this forum, I'd say that you are the same, albeit, sad guy posting under different accounts.
Whoever the hell you are (Oter/D-Wreck/ etc., etc.,: here's a little Dr. Phil (because I've seen his influence in your pearls of wisdom): why don't you get some treatment for your Multiple Personality Disorder, and find a life outside of this forum? You might want to consider why I have a tenth of yours and others' accumulated posts. I don't live in front of the computer monitor. I get out regularly and interact with....real people. Not avatars.
1) I corrected the poster for calling him Shev-y, on topic because it was a post about, Sheva. He named Shev-y at least twice. That's no typo, that's a clear indication he doesn't know anything about the player. How much credibility would I have if in one of my posts, I repeatedly referenced "Pattygol", or "Gazz-o", or "Keen-y"? None, because people would be correct in assuming I didn't know these players from shine-o-la.
2) Show me the joke, oh enlightened one.
3) I believe I responded to your post calling me a "prat". Low brow and classless, I might add. You keep referring to humor, but in my experience, humor is actually creative. Is that really all you had to say?
Dude, I might be a victim of any number of things; you ain't one of them. You're going to have to actually best me before I'd claim the status of "victim".
Like I've mentioned before, I'm not interested in a round of back-slapping and esteem-boosting plattitudes with my other likeminded buddies.
I don't know...does this sound too "sarcastic" or "pratish" to you?
The only expectation I have on these boards. and can't seem to find, is a little well reasoned dialogue on soccer. By "dialogue", I don't mean a small coterie of posters who always agree, exchange some stale humor amongst themselves, and take it as an insult if someone else has a different opinion, or makes the occasional correction.
BTW, on the Shevy/Chevy point--it's called phonetics. Google it and learn something.
You know what I find offensive? Your total and utter lack of logic. But I will cede one area of expertise to you--you seem quite well versed in all things rectal.
