I wonder if this will affect how long Clawson stays at UT. I thought maybe he was being brought in as the next head coach in waiting.

In soem of the earlier comments on this subject some people mentioned he had to go to La Tech b/c he couldn't qualify at Arkansas. What is the difference in admissions between the SEC and WAC. Both fall under the NCAA guidelines and I know of no special SEC qualifications. I know Vandy has higher standards, however, as far as I know most of the others don't. If there is a difference please enlighten me. I know players that I taught in high school that went to play at SEC schools that had to fight to get the basic grades for NCAA acceptance. These were higher standards than what was required for acceptance to 2 SEC West schools and one SEC East school.
