malone isnt worth the money he got and ive been saying it since he signed.he played with the best playmakerthis year(cuz sid was hurt) and only scored 28 goals. i could probly score 28 goals playing with malkin. i love malone and im happy for him and i know he had to go where the money was but the fans in tampa are going to be unhappy. if you can remember before he was playing with malkin this year pens fans were unhappy with him

Malkin would bring at least 5 players from most teams. Hossa's agent st this up and it is all greed. perhaps he will win a cup but if he doesn 't and it says here they won't repeat. Where will he sign for season after next. Look for a lockout in 2-3 years.

that made no sense at all. from what your reffering to if detroit doesnt win the cup there will be a lockout because its a mystery were hossa will be and because IF the pens traded malkin they would get 5 people. what the hell are you talking about?

Yeah, a hart trophy FINALIST. But, it didn't look like he made anyone around him better except if you mean by being invisible in the finals. I expect a major drop off in production for him this year.

Didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Chicago made moves to improve their team, so I noted that. Pens have made no moves that I'm aware of except extend Malkin which wasn't a top concern at this time. So far they've only let key players sign with other teams.

Are you stupid? Ray Shero has known for a long time the Malone and Roberts werent coming back and he got a 3rd round draft pick for them. Laraque wouldve costed to much money so they sign godard a cheaper version of laraque. they resigned eaton and dupuis two people that will help up defensivly. and from what i hear they made an offer to jagr so i think theyre doing pretty good plus resigning malkin is the best move he can make.

the old hockey saying you have to be strong up the middle. crosby, malkin, staal, talbot, and fleury. all amazing players and the oldest is what talbot at 24. you can always fill in the wingers.

boston dont get your hopes up to much. unless your gm is willing to pay him 8.5 mil/year or more hes going to sign with pittsburgh. hossa even said he was toing to test the free agent market and see the offers compared to the pens and how much less it will be. the pens offered him a 7year deal worth 7mil/year.

the shamrock malkin didnt start to play bad until game 3 of the conferance finals. in the first two rounds malkin was even more impresive than the 29 games without crosby and then when his play started to decline hossas climbed. yeah he isnt very good on faceoffs(hes horible actually) but you have to remember that he only started taking faceoffs when crosby went down and his defensive play wasnt as good as say hossas or crosbysbut it wasnt bad until the finals. i bet in two or three years when hes been in the league awile he will improve everything
