Malkin would bring at least 5 players from most teams. Hossa's agent st this up and it is all greed. perhaps he will win a cup but if he doesn 't and it says here they won't repeat. Where will he sign for season after next. Look for a lockout in 2-3 years.

that made no sense at all. from what your reffering to if detroit doesnt win the cup there will be a lockout because its a mystery were hossa will be and because IF the pens traded malkin they would get 5 people. what the hell are you talking about?

if it didnt look like he made anyone better how is malone getting 5-6 mil/year? because he played with malkin. and a drop off i exoect also but its kind of hard with the bar he set for himself. and id like to see anyone of the flyers compete for the hart
Phillydave | 07/02/08, 04:35 PM
oh malkins toatally replacible all we have to do is find a young hart trophy finalist that makes others around him better.
Exactly. irreplacible
Are you stupid? Ray Shero has known for a long time the Malone and Roberts werent coming back and he got a 3rd round draft pick for them. Laraque wouldve costed to much money so they sign godard a cheaper version of laraque. they resigned eaton and dupuis two people that will help up defensivly. and from what i hear they made an offer to jagr so i think theyre doing pretty good plus resigning malkin is the best move he can make.
and sho nuff- the pens were never going to trade malkin that rumor probly came from the same place that said hossa was offered a contract. shero wouldve looked like a complete idiot and wouldve been fired ig je jad made that deal
