People keep calling foul on that trade...let it go. Who did Seatlle get for Allen? Who did Minnesota get for KG? Unproven players.

I like the Artest to the Lakers idea. They need an enforcer like him. If the players won't listen to Kobe, they'll be shaking in their shorts not to with Ron.

a lot of players who play pick up games can't play in the NBA. It's very structured that a lot of players have a hard time grasping it. Look at a former And1 player Alston. It took him years to find out that he can't take extra steps, carry the ball and change directions 5 times without getting a travelling call.

He didn't learn it - he already knows it. Everyone knows it. Its not his fault when his team pulls a magical disappering act during the finals. Sasha showed up fora game or two, Pau for a few, Lamar for quarters at a time, Luke was there...somewhere, Turiaf was busy tossing towels during Celtic freethrows he forgot he was supposed to play, while everyone else was too young to matter. Next year...

Odom is the bomb! He is just misunderstood. Given the perplexity of the triangle, one can easily get lost. But if he is teamed up with a player like Brad Miller or Kenny Thomas, he will excel and had triple doubles every night. Im not quite sure about Kevin Martin though, they might needs to get rid of him along with Artest.

Chostown, pick up the nuts and bolts on the floor and put it back on your head. TD has Parker, Ginobili and Bowen. All are legit superstars with the exception of Bowen but he's a defensive player that any team would love to have. Rudy T had Hakeem and Drexler - are you saying that they are not LEGENDS?? Larry Brown is an exception but it puts an asterisk on that championship in my opinion. Malone went down and Payton became average. It was back to Kobe and and aging/overweight Shaq. Shaq won another one in Miami but he wasn't the dominant force- it was Wade and everyone knows it.

You're just bitter coz the Spurs lost in the WCF. Its ok man. Better luck next year.

Put the pipe down cleat32. While the MVP results could have been a toss-up between some players, KOBE is the best-all around player in the league today. YOu can ask any coach, GM or player - providing their security won't tazer you before you even get close.

JoeDew, MJ ripped on his teamates whenever they screw up. Remeber him socking Kerr in the face during practice? Remember him forcing Kwame's confidence out of his body? It is very unfair that he constantly being compared to MJ but it's great the same time because it means he is cracking that boarder or greatness. We can't say heis immature, you can probably blame that on this competitive nature. No one wants to lose.

At the beginning of the season, no one thought the Lakers will be in the Finals. People talked about it only because of history (please quit on the rivalry thing). Next thing you know, there they were able to grab two wins from the eventualy champs. So it's a good thing. It gave them hunger and a tasty teaser.
